Welcome to this meditation on the element of spirit,
Also known as space or ether.
Spirit is an omnipresent energy that serves as a container for nature's elements of earth,
Water,
Fire,
And air.
It is the beginning and end of them all,
The origin and final destination.
In this meditation we will explore the essence of spirit and its connection to ourselves in the natural world,
Inviting you to find balance and nurture your spirit.
Come to a comfortable seated position and close your eyes.
Notice the sensation of your breath,
The flow of air into and out of your body,
Feeling cool air rush in through your nose,
Warm air rush out of your nose.
Begin to deepen your breath,
Allowing yourself to be fully present in this space.
Big breath in,
Big breath out,
Big breath in,
Big breath out.
Continue breathing deeply,
Growing heavier in the body and lighter in the mind.
Space or spirit is the most subtle and ethereal element,
Just as it is the container of all other elements.
Know that within you,
Spirit holds the potential for all experiences and emotions to exist.
Imagine the energy of spirit flowing through you from the ground up,
Supporting your well-being and connecting you to the vastness of the universe.
This might feel like a current of energy coursing through your body,
Lighting up your organs,
Limbs,
And brain.
You might feel a tingling sensation.
Allow whatever sensation to come up and just notice it.
Spirit bridges the physical and spiritual and invites you to connect with the higher realms.
Allow yourself to explore the depths of your being and tap into the wisdom that resides within.
Embrace the intuition that arises and breathe deeply.
Envision the symbol of spirit,
The circle representing eternity and unity.
Acknowledge the wholeness of your existence,
Embracing that circle,
Knowing that spirit connects you to all aspects of yourself and the universe.
Feel the energy of spirit flowing through your being like a gentle spiral moving upward,
Connecting you with all realms.
You are an integral part of the grand tapestry of existence.
Take a deep breath in,
Deep breath out,
A few more deep breaths just like this,
And within this space of connectedness,
Find a feeling of gratitude for the element of spirit and its ability to provide harmony.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
Remember that you are a bridge between the physical and the spiritual.
Gently open your eyes and come back to the here and now.
Carry with you this sense of harmony,
Knowing that you are always connected to the vastness of the universe.
