Hello and welcome.
Today we're gonna be doing a little breath work together.
So I want you just to remember that you are breathing right now before trying to change it or control it.
Just notice that this is happening involuntarily and now you get to take control of your breathing.
I want you to start breathing in through your nose,
Pulling your breath down your throat,
Through your lungs,
Past your stomach,
Down to your belly button,
Feeling your whole belly rise and feel like a balloon.
Then exhale through the mouth,
Releasing any stress and any tension.
Again,
Breathing in slowly through your nose.
Once you've reached the full breath,
I want you to pause for just one second and take another sip,
Feeling the top of the chest and your throat,
Before again releasing fully.
Another deep breath,
Allowing a wave of relaxation and calmness to flood over you as you provide more oxygen to your body.
Taking a few final sips of air when you're ready,
Releasing completely.
Now placing your hands on your heart and bringing your attention to your heartbeat,
Allowing your breathing to return to normal.
Getting curious of if you can feel your heartbeat,
If you can hear your heartbeat even.
Now putting your attention on slowing your heartbeat down.
Just like your breath,
You have control over this,
Beginning to calm and slow your heart,
Knowing that you are in control when you put your focus on something.
Feeling it slow down and again recognising this sense of calmness washing over you as you choose to relax your body.
Finding gratitude for your heart for every time it beats without you choosing.
The just happening voluntarily.
Finding gratitude for your breath,
Finding gratitude for every function of your body,
That so much is done for you without you having to do anything,
Without having to notice that you are so lucky,
That you are so healthy.
Taking one final deep breath and when you're ready,
Opening your eyes,
Going on with your day knowing that you,
You can create everything,
As long as you put your focus and attention there.
