Hello,

My name is Annabelle and today we're going to be doing a loving kindness meditation.

So I invite you to get comfortable,

Either sit or lay down,

Make any final adjustments that you need to,

And then close your eyes.

Starting to focus on your breath,

Breathing in and out through your nose.

Focus on lengthening your exhales and your inhales,

Allowing your body to relax.

Now I invite you to visualize someone that you love deeply.

Whoever jumped into your mind first,

Imagine them sitting in front of you,

Smiling and happy.

Visualize them joyful,

Grateful.

And now out loud or in your mind,

I invite you to repeat the phrase,

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

And again,

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

Allowing yourself to feel such warmth and love spreading from your heart to theirs.

One more time,

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease,

Send them love.

And now I invite you to think of someone that you don't have the fondest thoughts of.

They may be someone in your personal life or a public figure.

Imagine them sitting in front of you,

Smiling and happy.

And notice how it feels in your body to see them happy.

And just accept it.

We're not trying to change it here.

Now we're going to say those same phrases to them.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

And one final time,

Trying to connect with your heart to theirs and accepting how you feel right now.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

And send them love.

Allowing your mind to clear.

Now I invite you to think of a younger version of yourself.

Doesn't matter what age.

Visualise yourself smiling and happy in front of you.

And notice how it feels in your body to see yourself so happy.

And then we're going to say the same phrases again.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

May you live with ease.

One more time.

May you be happy,

May you be healthy,

May you be safe,

And may you live with ease.

And send them love.

Now picturing a version of yourself in the future.

At any age.

Connect your heart to theirs.

Feel in your body how it feels to see yourself thriving.

And repeat those same phrases.

May you live with ease.

May you be happy,

Connecting your heart to theirs.

Holding your hands onto your heart now.

Feeling this unconditional love for all versions of yourself to come through.

Complete acceptance on who you are.

And just let this wash over you.
