Lots of us often feel restless, anxious, or not at ease without deeply understanding why. Sure, there are lots of obvious general reasons, yet on an individual level, we often can't pinpoint the roots of our restless feelings. This makes it very hard to transform them into harmony. This meditation offers a tool for you to find inner peace in a turbulent world. Welcome to the peace in perspective meditation.

Find yourself a cozy spot where you won't be disturbed and then go ahead and make yourself comfortable.

I invite you to lie down for this meditation.

Bring your feet a little bit apart and let them drop to the sides.

Then to relax your shoulders a little bit more.

Press the back of your head into the floor or the cushion.

Lift your shoulders a little bit.

Tuck your shoulder blades closer towards each other and then bring your shoulders back onto the floor and relax.

The palms of your hands can be facing upwards or they can rest on your belly.

Now take a deep long slow breath.

One more exhaling with a sigh.

And one more.

Now feel your body relaxing.

Relax your face.

Relax your frown.

Relax your eyes.

Relax your jaws.

Relax your mouth.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your torso.

Your hips.

Relax your legs.

Relax your arms.

Your whole body is relaxed and your whole face is relaxed.

Now become aware of your body lying onto the floor or the bed.

Your body is relaxed and comfortably lying down.

You focus for a little while on the spots where your body is touching the surface.

Your body is completely relaxed and comfortably lying down on that surface.

Now zoom out a little bit.

Your body is relaxed and comfortably lying down on the surface of the room you chose to do this meditation.

Your body is relaxed and comfortably lying down on the surface in the room of the building you chose to meditate.

Now go ahead and zoom out a little bit more.

Your body is relaxed and comfortably lying down on the surface in the room of the building in the area where you chose to relax.

Your body is comfortably lying down on the surface in the room in the building in the area of the town you choose to lie down.

Your body is relaxed and comfortably lying down on the surface of the room of the building of the town of the country where you choose to relax.

Your body is comfortably lying down on the surface in the room of the house in the area of the city of the country of the continent where you choose to relax in this moment.

Your body is relaxed and comfortably resting on the surface of the room in the city in the continent resting on Mother Earth.

Your body is so relaxed and comfortably resting on the surface of Mother Earth.

Mother Earth is turning around the Sun continuously.

So your body is comfortably and relaxed lying down on the surface of Mother Earth that is turning around its axis and that is also turning around the Sun.

Your body is so relaxed and comfortably resting above the surface of Mother Earth that turns around the Sun and the Sun is one of many stars in our galaxy.

Your body is so relaxed and comfortably resting on top of Mother Earth who is turning around its axis and around the Sun and the Sun is floating among many many other stars in our galaxy and there are countless zillions of galaxies out there.

So your body is so relaxed and comfortably lying down on Mother Earth's surface spinning around the Sun that is swirling around other stars in our galaxy and there are a zillion other galaxies out there.

So basically you are very relaxed floating in space.

Enjoy your relaxed resting during your float in space.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Your body resting onto the surface in the room you chose to relax.

You can bring slow movements into your body.

Maybe start with wiggling the toes or the fingers.

Might feel good to squeeze your bum so you can wiggle your hips a little or wiggle your shoulders a little bit.

Might feel good to circle wrists and ankles.

When you're ready you can bring your arms overhead and stretch from side to side and then you can hug your knees into your chest.

Roll from side to side gently.

Softly massaging your lower back while you do so and in your own time you can roll onto your favorite side using your biceps as a pillow to rest a little bit longer in fetal position.

Then slowly push yourself up over the side to come into a seated position,

Whichever one is most comfortable for you.

Take a deep inhale while you roll your shoulders back and down.

Exhale,

Sink back deeper through your sitting bones.

Now coming back from your float into space which is actually very very real,

You can notice that this shift in perspectives brings a lot of peace because in the absolute of things nothing really matters and that brings a big freedom because it can take the weight out of life.

Sometimes it feels very heavy and that zooming out can give you a better perspective to show that nothing really matters but from that realization we can also see that it is a wonderful wondrous miracle that you have a body that is alive,

That can experience life and whatever you choose to do with that body,

With your time as a human here on earth matters a whole lot.

Whatever you choose to do don't take it too seriously but choose to do it properly.

Take a deep in and exhale,

Two more exhaling with a sigh and then when you're ready you can slowly blink open your eyes and continue with your day.
