
Breathing And Tapping To Tackle Morning Anxiety
Anxiety who? Tap Into Your Power This Morning with Gabffirmations by Gxbby. Morning anxiety doesn't have to be that scary, we can work through it, together. It can feel tough, even for myself. But, taking the time to ground and be in tune with the body, helps greatly.

Before the world asks for anything from you,
Let's start with you and your world,
First and foremost.
Lying down,
Sitting up,
Still wrapped in your blanket of dreams.
This is your time,
Led by me,
But all you're doing.
So let's tap into your special power this morning,
So you remember who you are in the light possible,
And remember that along with me,
You got you the most.
Welcome to this gap formation session,
Let it meet you exactly where you are.
I want to start by thanking you for being here,
Like here on earth.
I hope you know that the world doesn't exist the way that it does without you.
I may have mentioned this before,
But I just want you to know that starting this whole thing,
I've thought about this for maybe almost a year,
And now I finally got to it.
And this is just to say that I want to help you grow through whatever you need,
And I too will be growing right along with you.
So what I'm saying to you,
I'm also saying to me.
Now perhaps you're lying,
Or sitting up in your bed,
Feel free to do whatever is comfortable to you,
And change into anything that more resonates to you,
Feeling even more amazing.
Now,
I don't know about you,
But sometimes I wake up with this anxiety in the morning,
Super heavy,
Weighing on my chest as if somebody placed a large boulder in my belly and just lit it on fire.
If you know what I mean,
You'll know it can feel hard to shake off.
I believe we feel anxiety because there's something within us we need to address or look into,
And anxiety doesn't have to rule your life,
You can actually take it and make it work for you.
But first,
You have to be in tune with your mind and body as much as possible.
So let's start off by breathing,
Take note of your breathing as much as you can,
Always remember to take slower,
Deeper,
Intentional breaths.
I find that we tend to forget about this small thing throughout the day.
Now,
For today,
I want you either breathing through the nose,
Then sighing out of your mouth,
So for simplicity,
I like to pretend I'm smoking the air and that feels nice to me.
As in,
Inhale the air,
Hold the top,
Inhale into your lungs,
Then release back out of your mouth.
That's one of my favorites for these situations,
But do what feels best for you.
Matter of fact,
Did you know,
A lot of smokers are just hooked on the act of smoking,
And if you find yourself in a position of quitting or cutting down,
Try replacing the smokes with this action when you're stressed and see how you feel.
Now,
For this next thing,
I'm going to put you to work a little bit.
I want you to take both of your hands and place them on your belly,
And as you inhale,
You're going to slide your hand up slowly towards your chest,
Pressing on that so-called anxiety.
Then,
As you exhale,
Do the same thing going back down.
I want you to inhale for 5,
1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
Hold for a bit,
1,
2,
Then exhale for 8,
5,
6,
7,
8.
Release it all from the belly.
When you exhale,
I want you to sigh out all that tension as much as possible.
Let's add a little to it as well,
And we're going to tell this little A to be quiet,
Because,
Like I said,
This is our time.
Now just continue to breathe.
Let me talk to you a little bit while you continue.
What I will be saying will be from you to you.
You can repeat after me out loud in your head,
Or you can just listen and internalize everything.
Inhale,
I love myself so much,
And I'm everything that I need,
And exhale,
I run this show,
This is my life,
And I'm getting my mind right.
Inhale,
I love myself so much that I can hear my body calling out with its needs,
And exhale,
And when it calls out,
I answer it with love.
Now as you are going through this,
Are you feeling any good feelings?
Once you feel even a spark of anything amazing,
I want you to grab it and lock it up inside of you,
And keep collecting it.
We're going to create and collect these feelings until they pile up inside of you.
I'm going to go and give me everything I need and want because I love me,
And exhale.
I know this already with all of my heart.
I'm just reminding me so I don't forget today.
Alright,
Are you still with me?
Because now we're going to move into something else.
I want you to get in tune with your body.
Now all you're going to do is take those deep,
Intentional breaths through your belly,
And follow as I say.
Take your left hand,
Cross it over to the right side of your belly,
And gently tap your skin with two fingers.
We're going to slowly work your way up to your kilikili,
Which is your armpits,
Into Gallagher.
You decide on the tempo of the tapping.
Did you want to do it slow?
Fast?
Whatever feels good to you.
Now tap gently,
Slowly upwards.
As I continue to talk to you,
I got me,
And I don't ever need to stress for anything ever.
I am my bestest friend,
And I got my back first so that I can take on the world.
And there's nothing I cannot do if I truly want to do it.
Now once you reach your armpit area,
With your arm in the air,
Stay there and keep tapping gently.
I am safe,
And definitely very blessed to have a bed,
Food to eat,
And the ability to choose my day,
My life.
I am grateful for all the things that God or the universe provides me with,
And to show how grateful I will be taking advantage of what I do have in the best way possible.
Now you're going to start tapping the side of your arm,
The one that lines up with your pinky side.
I have everything I need to win,
And if I don't right now,
I will.
No one can tell me anything once my mind is headed towards the finish line.
Remember,
All the good feelings that you feel,
Grab it,
And pile it up inside of you.
Create a box inside,
And lock it up in there.
Now,
You're going to end up on the side of your hand where your pinky is.
Continue to breathe,
And tap right there.
And now,
I want you to trace your fingers with your tapping.
I find that I can capture feel-good points when I tap at the tips of my fingers,
And in the creases in between.
When it feels good,
Feel free to tap that area a bit longer.
Envision every tap having literal love in each one.
Just like the tap button on social media,
You're doing it and appreciating every crevice of your body that we meet today.
Now,
Keep going until you reach the side of your wrist just below your thumb,
And stay there a bit.
I am so incredible.
I know this because I'm taking the time to make sure I am at my highest point so I can greet the day and my fellow Earthmates with my awesome energy.
Now,
Tap down this way slowly and intentionally until you reach your shoulder.
Alright,
Now we're going to do the same on the other side.
With your right hand,
Cross over to the left side of your belly,
And just like before,
Gently tap with two fingers.
Keep breathing nice and deep.
Remember your tempo.
Whatever feels right to you.
Now,
Tap gently,
Slowly upwards.
I choose to show up for myself every single day in ways that matter most to me.
I am worthy of all the goodness that's coming my way,
And I'm fully open to receiving it.
I trust myself to make the decisions that are best for my journey.
Now,
Once you reach your armpit area,
Arm in the air,
Stay there and keep tapping.
I release all the worry that does not serve me,
Because I know that I'm capable.
I am doing my absolute best,
And my best is more than enough.
I am proud of myself for being here,
Doing this work,
And choosing me.
Now,
Tap down the side of your arm,
The pinky side.
Every single day,
I am growing,
Learning,
And becoming more aligned with who I am meant to be.
I celebrate myself for every small victory,
Because they all matter.
When you reach the side of your hand where your pinky is,
Continue breathing and tapping there.
Beautiful.
Now,
Trace your fingers again with your tapping.
The tips,
The creases,
Wherever feels good.
Remember,
Each tap is filled with love and appreciation.
You're literally loving on yourself right now.
Make your way now to the side of your wrist below your thumb,
And stay there.
I am choosing peace over panic,
Love over fear,
And me over everything that tries to dim my light.
I am powerful beyond measure,
And today I choose to know this by stepping into that power fully.
Tap down slowly until you reach your shoulder.
Now,
I want you to bring both hands to your heart.
Place them there,
One on top of the other.
Feel your heartbeat.
Feel yourself being alive,
Being here,
Being present.
And take one more deep breath with me.
Inhale.
I am exactly where I need to be.
And exhale.
And I'm ready to face the day with my best foot forward.

Smile.
With your mouth,
And with your entire body.
You just gave yourself the gift of time,

And love.

Nobody can take that from you.

Whenever you do feel that anxiety creeping back in,
