Breath is one of the most basic physiological responses we have, it’s always happening. When we feel tense or anxious, our breathing often becomes shallow and quick. When we feel safe and calm, the breath naturally slows and deepens. This practice isn’t about forcing the breath to change. No hyperventilation, “deep breathing,” or intense breathwork, just gentle awareness of what’s already here. By noticing the natural rhythm of your breath, you create space for your body and nervous system to remember their own patterns of balance and ease. Through mindful guidance, you’ll explore how the breath can become an anchor for presence, calm, and connection. No experience is needed, only openness and willingness to notice. Do what feels supportive and safe for you. I tend to enjoy this practice lying on the floor with a pillow, but trust your own intuition and posture. Happy practicing, Katie
