Welcome,
Beautiful one.
This is your time to soften and to gently settle into your own presence.
If it feels comfortable,
Allow your eyes to close.
Begin by noticing the natural rhythm of your breath.
Take a deep,
Nourishing breath in and a long,
Easy breath out,
Allowing your body to release any tension.
Again,
Breathe in,
Feel your shoulders relax,
Your jaw loosen,
Your body at ease.
Imagine a warm,
Shimmering rose gold light above you.
This light slowly moves toward the crown of your head.
Resting there for a moment,
Bringing a sense of ease across your forehead,
Your temples.
As it drifts downward,
Your eyes feel calm and at rest.
The light flows into your neck and shoulders,
Creating a feeling of openness and space,
As if tension is gently dissolving.
It continues through your arms,
Your elbows,
Your wrists,
All the way to your fingertips.
The light settles into your chest and heart space,
Down through your belly,
Your hips and into your calves,
Your feet,
Grounding you here in this moment.
Your whole body now rests in this field of light,
Supported,
Comforted.
From this settled place,
Bring your awareness inward.
Notice that beneath your daily thoughts and actions,
Your mind often carries quiet stories.
Stories shaped long ago.
Stories formed when you were trying to stay safe,
To belong,
To do the right thing,
To avoid hurt or rejection.
Over time,
These same stories can slowly turn into self-doubt.
They may sound like quiet bargains you make with yourself.
If only I were more confident,
Then I'd be loved.
Only I did better,
Then I'd feel safe.
Or familiar thoughts like,
I'm not enough.
I need to try harder to be worthy.
If any of these feel familiar,
Simply notice the thoughts.
A belief is just a thought you've practiced over time.
And thoughts can be reshaped.
Imagine yourself sitting beside a gentle stream.
The water moves steadily,
Peacefully onward.
Each thought,
Each familiar story floats past like a leaf on the surface of the water.
You can simply watch it drift by.
Noticing its shape,
Its movement,
And allowing it to continue on its way.
You may sense how these stories once tried to keep you safe,
To help you belong.
To help you feel loved.
And you can softly acknowledge them now.
Invite in a new way of thinking.
Imagine the old story as a familiar book you've read many times.
Imagine setting it down with appreciation for the safety it once gave you.
Allow a gentler thought to arise.
One that feels supportive and natural for this moment.
I am learning to listen to myself.
I am allowed to change.
I can trust what I feel.
Let one of these thoughts rest softly in your body.
Notice how it feels in your chest.
Your breath.
If it feels comforting,
Place a hand over your heart and gently remind yourself I am more than the thoughts that I think.
I can meet myself with patience and love.
I can change my thoughts.
Rest here for a few moments.
Your breath moving calmly.
Your body supported.
Your inner story loosening its grip.
You may notice more space where tension was once present.
Or simply a sense of freedom.
A sense of peace.
Whatever feeling arises is welcome.
Now,
Slowly begin to bring awareness back to the space around you.
Notice the surface beneath your body.
The temperature of the air.
The subtle sounds nearby.
Wiggle your fingers.
Your toes.
Perhaps take a small stretch.
Rolling your shoulders.
And carry this wisdom with you.
That stories can evolve.
That gentleness creates change.
And that you are already enough.
Exactly as you are.
This space as long as your soul needs.
