Imagine you are sitting beside a wide,
Slow river.
You can hear the soft hush of water flowing over the riverbed.
The air is cool and gentle against your skin.
Sunlight glides across the surface of the water in slow,
Shimmering ripples.
Nothing is rushing here,
The river moves without effort,
An easy current carrying everything forward.
You don't have to change the thought,
You don't have to understand it,
You simply let it rest on the surface of the water.
And the river receives it.
Watch how naturally the current carries it onward.
No pushing,
No forcing,
The movement happens on its own.
If a thought catches your attention again,
That is okay.
Very gently,
You place it back as a feather on the river.
Once more,
You watch it drift.
If it returns,
You place it back again.
There is no need to judge your thoughts,
Simply witness them and let them drift as a feather on the river.
