Here I introduce the layering of "tongue drum", and guide the listener into a place of mindfulness and balance. I invite you to notice any "parts" of you that might need to be attended to, softly instilling validation and comfort as the vibrations of the sound healing instrument create ease within the nervous system.

Welcome my friends to this parts work guided sound healing.

Throughout this meditation I invite you to simply notice the breath,

Continue breathing at a consistent rate into the belly,

As well as noticing how the body responds as we attune to each part within us.

So let us begin the meditation.

Inviting you to notice how you're feeling in this moment,

Just scanning the body and bringing awareness to any thoughts.

I'd like you to see if you can notice one part.

They're the most predominant feeling or a part of the body that you recognize the most.

So as you turn your attention towards this part,

I'd like you to see if there's anything that it's telling you this very moment.

It could be something simple or it could be nothing at all.

Just noticing what this part might be trying to tell you.

Inviting you to ask if there's anything that this part might need this very moment.

There's something that you can provide this part.

Maybe some reassurance that you're here,

You're listening,

You're not going anywhere.

That you like to get to know all parts of you.

There's no need to turn away.

We're not going to push past any parts.

Go too quickly.

In fact,

I'd like you to make this promise to all of your parts who are listening,

That you're going to allow them to lead.

You're not going to go any faster than any part is willing to go.

That you're simply taking their hand and asking them where would they like to go.

I'm just curious if there are any additional parts who are coming.

Maybe surfacing a little later.

So checking once again.

Noticing the neck and the shoulders.

Maybe the stomach and the abdomen.

Maybe noticing how the hands or the feet feel.

They're touching something right now.

Or any other parts of the body.

Just noticing what comes up.

I'd like you to offer kind words,

Loving words,

Validation,

Recognition.

The parts know that they're not alone anymore.

They don't have to keep working so hard.

That you're here.

You're not going anywhere.

To offer gentle guidance.

Maybe this offers a little relief.

And maybe you can feel yourself soften just a little bit.

May you notice the breath for a moment.

See if the breath has changed or the body has shifted at any point in the meditation.

Noticing the quality of the inhale.

And the diaphragm releasing as you exhale.

Are there any other parts that want to say hello?

Welcome them in.

Bring them to the table.

Let them know that their input is valuable.

You have space for them in your body,

In your mind.

Before you end this check-in,

I'd like you to promise each of the parts that have come up.

That you can offer them something.

Even just a moment of check-in or softening.

Do you know what it is that you can offer this part?

So say thank you to each of these parts that have showed up today.

That you appreciate them just as they are.

How they've showed up for you for so long.

And now say goodbye.

Thank you for joining me in this guided meditation today.

I hope you'll be restful sleep and I'll talk to you soon.

Take care.

I love that is 10 min, so while I'm tempted to push through my day I can instead take a quick pause & truly learn how to support myself moving forward. Your voice is just the calm I needed to downregulate & continue with my day instead of spiraling. So grateful you shared this!
