Beginning this meditation,
Welcoming the body.
Body,
I hear you,
I feel you,
And I see you.
Releasing the shoulders,
Opening up that chest,
Making more room for nice,
Big,
Deep breaths.
Elongating the neck,
Stretching it nice and tall with that chin slightly elevated.
Confidence posture,
We're seeing an imaginary line drawn from the back of the head all the way down the spine to the tailbone.
Stretching the legs,
Adjusting the body as much as is needed to be comfortable.
You being comfortable is worth the time it takes.
You being comfortable is worth the work.
You are worth the time and effort it takes to take care of you.
Beginning to breathe in through the nose,
Feeling the coolness of the air entering in through the nostrils.
And on the exhale,
Now the air exiting the nostrils is slightly warmer.
This,
The sign of the body,
Warming,
Filtering the air that you breathe in,
Preparing it to meet and greet the lungs,
Oxygenating the bloodstream,
Providing it for your body,
The purest form,
At the perfect temperature.
The body is so kind.
The body works hard to love you and care for you within each and every breath.
A beautiful work and a wonder.
Settling the body,
Feeling and finding a flow as the body naturally breathes in and out the air in the body,
Hearing the sounds of the breath and noticing the gentle rise and fall of the chest.
I am one with my body.
My body is me.
My body is a wonderful place to be.
A gift that shares this life with you.
Breathing in this gratitude for your body and exhaling the gratitude into the environment,
Being grateful for this body that houses your soul,
The body that experiences this life with you,
This body that has shared this journey every step of the way.
Beginning to see now a glorious light radiating and entering from the heart.
This light is no accident.
This light is a symbol of gratitude and power.
This light expands with every grateful thought and allows yourself to exist within this light and to receive all that the body needs.
Being grateful for the toes,
For each leg.
Being grateful for the hips,
For the tailbone,
The pelvis,
For the spine.
Grateful for the shoulders,
Both arms,
For the wrists and the fingers.
Grateful for the neck,
Accepting the body exactly as it is,
Praising the body exactly as it is.
Sitting with the body and seeing now that this light has stretched all the way from the head to the toes and even expanded six feet on either side in the auric plane.
This body resting in a beautiful light,
Breathing in this gratitude,
Flushing and cleansing the body and the blood,
Exhaling and further creating an environment of gratitude.
Seeing clearer,
Feeling more grateful and surrendering deeper.
Resting within this light,
Within this gratitude,
For as long as feels comfortable,
Taking as long as you need,
Allowing this beautiful energy and light to settle deeply within the body,
Allowing the body to feel love,
To feel accepted,
Like it's doing something right by purely existing with you in harmony.
Continue hearing those sounds of the breath,
Taking as long as is needed,
And when you feel ready,
And only when you feel ready,
Begin to very slowly open the eyes and slowly begin to get up.
