This gentle wake up meditation will help you get your day started. I am not going to pretend that it's easy getting out of a warm, comfortable bed, but this mediation might help make it a little easier. Each day, you have the potential to do or change something that can make your life or those around you better. It starts with getting out of bed.

Transcript

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

As you start to wake up,

Feel the comfort of your bed and the softness of your pillow.

You may notice the pull to stay asleep,

The comfort of rest,

And the resistance to getting up for the day.

That's okay.

It's normal to feel this way.

But now,

Gently remind yourself that today is a new opportunity.

With each breath,

Feel your body becoming more awake,

More alert.

As you breathe in,

Imagine the fresh,

Energizing air filling your body,

Waking up every muscle,

Every cell.

You can feel the energy flowing through you,

Vibrant and alive.

Visualize the morning light streaming through the window,

Filling the room with warmth and brightness.

You are surrounded by the promise of a fresh start.

The world is waiting for you to show up,

And you're ready.

Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

Even just the smallest stretch of your fingers,

Your toes,

Or your neck.

Gently move,

Stretch,

And release any tension.

As you do,

Let go of the heaviness that kept you in bed,

Replacing it with a sense of lightness,

Strength,

And possibility.

Now think of one thing you're looking forward to today.

Maybe it's a task you'll complete,

A person you'll connect with,

Or a moment of joy you'll create.

Visualize that moment with full clarity.

See it.

Feel it.

And know that it's yours.

With each breath,

You are waking up to your potential.

The day is full of opportunities,

And you are ready to embrace them.

You don't have to rush,

Just take one moment at a time.

And as you rise,

Know that your energy,

Your focus,

And your determination are with you.

Now take one last deep breath.

And when you exhale,

Feel yourself fully awake,

Fully present.

It's time to step into your day with confidence.
