Stop Overthinking: Deep Sleep Tonight
You’ll begin by taking slow, comfortable breaths, allowing your breathing to become effortless as you notice the gentle sensation of the air entering and leaving your body. Whenever your mind begins to wander, you’ll practise simply noticing where it has gone before gently returning your attention to your breath. Each time you return, you’ll invite a little more calm and create some distance from the thoughts that have been keeping your mind busy. You’ll then notice the quiet space between each breath, resting your awareness there without needing to think, solve or remember anything. As your mind becomes quieter, you’ll be guided back to the simplicity of the present moment, allowing yourself to let go and drift naturally towards sleep.
