This meditation invites you to connect with your inner child—the tender, younger part of you that may still long for care, safety, or attention. With a soft, compassionate tone, you’ll learn how to meet this part with presence and warmth. You’ll be gently guided through visualizations and affirmations that support healing and reconnection. This practice is ideal if you're working through emotional wounds or simply want to deepen your self-compassion.

Transcript

Greetings and welcome.

Take a moment to settle into your body,

However you're resting or seated.

Let your breath guide you home to yourself.

Inhale slowly through your nose,

Exhale gently through your mouth.

With each breath,

Allow your body to soften.

Let your shoulders drop,

Release any tension in your jaw or your chest.

There's no pressure here,

Only space to listen,

To connect,

To hold what needs holding.

Now,

When you're ready,

I invite you to bring your attention inward.

See if there's a younger feeling or memory that gently comes to mind.

This might be a time when you felt small,

Unsure,

Or alone.

Or maybe it's just a quiet presence inside that feels tender or young.

There's no need to figure it out,

Simply be open.

If something arises,

Greet it kindly.

You might say,

Hello,

I see you.

You're welcome here.

This part of you may just want to be seen,

To be acknowledged,

To be held without judgment.

You might ask,

What do you need right now?

Or even,

What would feel comforting to you?

Allow whatever comes to be enough.

You could imagine gently holding this younger you,

Like a loving caregiver would.

Warm,

Open,

Present.

Let this inner child know they are not alone.

Before we end,

Take a moment to thank this part of you for showing up.

Let them know you'll continue to hold space for them with kindness.

Take a breath in and let it go.

Feel your body again,

Your seat,

Your breath,

The ground beneath you.

When you're ready,

Gently return to your surroundings,

Carrying with you a sense of care and connection.

You are worthy of gentleness.

You are worthy of your own love.

Thank you for being here.
