Hi,

My name is Deru and today I would like to guide you through a meditation where we connect to our heart in our heart space.

And we will do that through gratitude.

Let me read to you a quote by Eckhart Tolle.

He said,

If the only prayer you will ever say in your entire life is thank you,

It will be enough.

You might know that gratitude is a very high vibration.

So let us practice gratitude today by connecting to our body and to our breath.

Come into a comfortable position.

I recommend you sit for this practice.

And gently close your eyes.

Start to connect to yourself,

To the shape of your body,

To the ground underneath.

Just sink in to this very moment,

To this time,

And to this place.

Become aware of your breath.

And I would like you to visualize your breath.

As you breathe in,

Visualize the breath.

The breath moving into your heart space.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine the breath from your heart space going out in a 360 degree circle.

Breathing in through the nose,

You visualize the energy going into your heart space.

And breathing out,

You visualize the energy radiating out from your heart space.

Breathing in and down to your heart space.

Radiating out as you breathe out.

Breathe out.

Let's add a little sesame seed into this meditation.

So imagine as you're breathing in,

There's a very small sesame seed in your heart space.

Bring all of the in-breath,

All of the energy into that little grain of sesame.

And radiate it out from there.

Take a little break and a little pause as you reach your sesame seed,

Before you radiate the energy out through your heart space.

Your heart space.

It's a breath in,

Down into your heart,

Into your little sesame seed.

And a breath out from your heart space,

Out and around you.

Breathing in.

Radiating out.

Breathing in.

Radiating out.

And it's always a small pause as you reach your sesame seed.

Continue in your own pace.

And just feel,

Connect,

Be present with your breath and your heart space.

Can you notice any shifts in your body?

Any shifts in your energy?

Can you stay with your breath and maybe add some color into this meditation?

Visualizing a colorful inhale into your heart,

Into the sesame seed.

And as you breathe out and radiate it out,

And as you breathe out and radiate the energy out,

Maybe you see sparkles,

Maybe you see beautiful rays of energy.

Visualize the colors you just connect to the most,

That give you a good feeling.

Let us take three more breaths together.

Two.

And the last one.

I would like to conclude this meditation with a passage from what I know for sure,

Oprah Winfrey's book.

Being grateful all the time isn't easy,

But it's when you feel least thankful that you are most in need of what gratitude can give you.

Perspective.

Gratitude can transform any situation.

It alters your vibration,

Moving your gratitude can transform any situation.

It alters your vibration,

Moving you from negative energy to positive.

It's the quickest,

Easiest,

Most powerful way to affect change in your life.

This I know for sure.

Here is the gift of gratitude.

In order to feel it,

Your ego has to take a back seat.

What shows up in its place is greater compassion and understanding.

Instead of being frustrated,

You choose appreciation.

And the more grateful you become,

The more you have to be grateful for.

Bringing both hands to your heart.

Connecting to your heart space.

And in the seed that we planted,

Let there be gratitude.

Let there be gratitude that starts to grow out of the seed into your heart space.

And fill you,

Fill your heart space as it's radiating out with gratitude.

And I invite you to think of one thing you're grateful for right this moment.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

I'm looking forward to our next session.

You
