Hi my name is Diya and I'd like to welcome you to this meditation on meeting your future self.
In today's meditation we're gonna look at what is the greater vision for you.
How can you realign to your desires,
Your deeper desires.
How can you realign to what it is that you want to experience here that you want to contribute to,
That you want to have an impact with.
You can call it your vision,
You can call it your mission in life,
You can call it your joy.
So I'd like to take you through this practice and it is called meeting your future self.
So we're gonna use this as a way to step into that space of curiosity,
Of receptivity,
Of deep listening,
To access this greater knowing of what it is that you would like to create in this life.
What it is that will bring you joy.
So take a moment to put everything to one side.
We're gonna move through this process now and if you'd like to have a journal handy and you could jot down some notes you can go ahead and do that.
And then take a moment to bring yourself back into a seated position.
Taking a few deep breaths,
Breathe in and breathe out.
And breathing.
And breathe out.
And take a moment to imagine yourself sitting on the earth,
Feeling yourself completely supported by the earth.
Take a moment to imagine yourself in a beautiful field,
On a crystal-clear day,
With a vast blue sky above you.
Noticing the air that is crisp and filled with fragrance from the field.
Imagine yourself walking through this field.
And then imagine seeing your future self come towards you.
Imagine them holding their hands out towards you.
And I invite you to stand in front of them and extend your arms out towards them.
As you're walking towards them closer in this beautiful field,
Keep walking until you arrive in your meeting face-to-face with them.
As your hands get close enough to touch,
This meeting could be taking place at any time in the future.
Maybe they are meeting you a few years from now,
Maybe 10 years from now,
20 years in the future.
Imagine that they are you,
Fully expressed in your potential,
Fully embodied in modeling who you are,
Fully actualized,
Expressed.
They are there standing in front of you.
This is the embodiment of your potential made manifest.
And just feeling their energy.
Imagine their hands reaching out and touching yours and your hands touching theirs.
And they have a message for you.
And they're telling you what the next step is for you to take.
So you may step into your full,
Actualized self.
What is it that you need to do?
What is one small action step that you can take to become more fully yourself?
To become this future self that is standing in front of you?
What does your future self offer as inspiration and a possibility for your life?
What were they like?
What did they walk like?
How are they speaking?
How did they feel?
What was their energy?
Just noticing.
And then seeing if there's any other messages that they want to share with you.
And then taking a moment to just thank them.
Thank them for their message.
Thank them for all the insight that they have provided for you.
And when you feel that you've had enough time with them,
You can thank them and then release them.
And then coming back here into this room,
Into this time,
Here and now,
Into your body.
Taking a breath and jotting down any messages that were received.
Any symbols,
Signs,
Visions.
Just jotting it down and seeing what the next step is for you as you continue on.
What is one action step that you can take where you can feel more supported,
More connected,
More into your body as yourself when you are at your best.
And then I encourage you to continue on in these ways of being deeply connected to yourself,
Deeply connected with others,
And deeply connected into this field of energy.
And this is where your power will come.
This is where the insight will come,
The inspiration will come.
And then in the times that it's not there,
Remembering to be kind with yourself.
And there will be times when the inspiration just isn't there,
The motivation just isn't there.
And those are the times where we wait patiently and we wait with kindness and tenderness.
But know that this will end.
There will be another side.
You are resilient,
You are strong,
And you are more powerful than you can ever imagine.
And then when you're ready,
We're going to transition out of this meditation.
Begin to rotate your wrists,
Wiggle your toes and take in a deeper breath.
Opening your eyes if they were closed and arriving back to this here and now moment.
