Welcome.
I am Claire and I am here to take you on a short journey to reconnect with calm and steadiness.
Autumn is here and the shift of the season is in the air.
I am here to guide you,
To find presence,
To create headspace and to cultivate ease in your mind and body.
Let's start by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Allowing your body to be fully supported.
Close your eyes if that feels right and take a slow,
Gentle breath in and a long,
Soft breath out.
And notice your body.
You can make subtle movements to get more comfortable.
And feel the support of the earth beneath you.
Then notice your breath,
Just as it is,
Inhaling and exhaling in your own rhythm,
Without needing to change or control it.
With every exhale,
Allow yourself to arrive fully here,
In this moment.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head,
To the crown.
From your crown to your forehead,
Soften it.
Do the same for your eyes,
Your nose,
Your jaws,
Your mouth.
Make subtle movements with your face,
And then allow your whole face to relax completely.
Move your attention down to your throat,
Your collarbones and into your shoulders,
Places that may carry weight,
Pressure.
Allow them to soften and to drop.
Let your awareness travel slowly down your arms,
To your hands and fingertips.
Rest your hands where they feel most comfortable,
By your sides,
On your chest or on your belly.
Bring your focus to your chest and your heart.
Breathe gently here.
Create space and room in this area to expand with your breath.
Then let awareness soften your belly,
Releasing any holding.
And travel further down your hips,
To your thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
To finally arrive at your feet,
Which are resting fully on the ground.
Now notice your whole body,
Your whole body that's being supported by the surface beneath you.
And imagine yourself as a mountain,
Steady,
Rooted deep in the earth.
Your base is wide,
Solid,
Unshaken.
And feel the stability through your whole body,
Not from holding or tightening,
But from being carried by the earth itself.
From this grounded foundation,
You rise with ease.
Your slopes stretch upward,
Spacious and open,
Strong yet effortless.
Around you,
The season is shifting.
The warmth of summer softens into cooler days and longer nights.
The winds move more swiftly.
The rain is more present.
Change is unfolding all around you as the season turns.
And still,
Like the mountain,
Your center remains steady,
Unmoved by the passing weather,
Strong in your foundation and in each season.
Autumn is a time of release.
The trees let go of their leaves.
Plants draw their energy inward,
Back into their roots.
Fields are cleared after the harvest.
Nature makes space to conserve and to prepare for resting.
Now you can do the same.
Allow yourself to release what you no longer need to carry.
Let go of tensions,
Worries,
Pressure.
Let them fall like leaves,
Returning to the earth.
Now with each inhale,
Draw in strength and calm.
And stay here for a few moments,
Feeling the solid,
Steady presence within you.
Notice how your body feels,
Supported and carried by the earth.
And notice the calm and spaciousness and the awareness that remains,
No matter what changes around you.
Take a moment to feel the rhythm of your breath.
Steady and calm.
And allow yourself to carry a little of that ease with you.
You can gently move fingers and toes,
And then stretch,
Feeling both strength and openness.
Take a deep breath in,
And a long,
Soft breath out.
As you open your eyes,
Still notice that you are rooted,
Supported,
Like the mountain.
And like autumn itself,
You can move and release with grace and ease.
Take a final moment to rest in this calm,
Feeling a serene space within you.
A quiet place you can return to anytime,
Even when life feels busy or overwhelming.
If you like to carry this calm and headspace into your everyday life,
And to ease the continuous thoughts and daily pressures,
Please follow along.
Together we will move toward a serene state,
Where each day can feel lighter,
More centered,
And fully aligned with who you truly are.
Until the next,
Namaste.
