Phase 1 of the moon,

Known as the new moon,

Is a time of darkness and new beginnings.

During this phase,

The moon is positioned between the earth and the sun,

With its illuminated side facing away from us.

As a result,

The moon appears completely dark in the sky.

Symbolically,

The new moon represents a fresh start,

A time for setting intentions and planting seeds for the future.

It offers an opportunity to let go of the past and embrace new possibilities.

Just as the moon enters this phase of darkness,

Before gradually emerging with renewed light,

We can use this time to reflect,

Recharge and embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Let's come into a guided meditation for this day.

Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,

Allowing your body to relax and visualize yourself standing in a serene,

Open space under a clear night sky.

Notice the absence of the moon as it is in its new moon phase.

Feel a sense of peace and stillness as you connect with the darkness around you.

As you embrace this phase of new beginnings,

Imagine a small seed in the palm of your hand.

This seed represents your intentions and desires for the future.

Take a moment to reflect on what you wish to cultivate in your life.

What areas do you really want to grow and transform?

Go ahead and visualize these intentions as vibrant and beautiful flowers that are waiting to bloom.

Now imagine planting this seed deep within the soil beneath your feet.

Gently cover it with earth,

Nurturing it with your loving intentions.

As you do this,

Feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for the growth and possibilities that lie ahead.

Take a few moments to breathe deeply and allow yourself to fully embody this moment.

This moment of new beginnings.

Go ahead and embrace the darkness as a space of infinite potential and trust that the seeds you have planted will flourish in due time.

Take a few more deep breaths.

When you are ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment,

Carrying with you a sense of hope and renewal.

Remember the new moon phase is a time for introspection and setting intentions.
