The sacred chakra is located just below the navel and extends up to the pelvic region.
This forms our deepest connections with sensuality and passion.
It embodies our relationship to discovery and exploration of our world.
It includes emotion,
Pleasure,
Connection,
And intimacy.
Motivated by pleasure and joy,
The sacred chakra is the driving force for enjoyment in our life.
And when our sacred chakra is balanced,
It enables us to feel and experience life to its fullness.
As the center of passion,
Our sacred chakra awakens our power of creation.
And it allows us to discover what we truly enjoy and able to create intimate relationships.
For this meditation,
I invite you to lie down and open up your hips in a butterfly position.
Or you can just be seated with your back straight but relaxed and your hands gently resting around your hip area.
Just be with your body and breathe.
I invite you to close your eyes now or bring your gaze low till a crease of light shines through.
Noticing what's coming up for you,
What the body is aware of right now,
What are you feeling?
Notice how the body is breathing,
Just observing.
Checking in with the interconnected union we have with the body from the inside out.
Breathe through the nose deeply all the way to the top of the breath.
Release the breath now and soften.
Expell all the air from your lungs until you reach the bottom of the breath.
Feel the body breathing.
Consider who you are,
What you stand for,
And what's beneath the surface of your being.
That interconnected self.
Soften.
Surrender.
Surrender to old ideas of you.
Breathe.
Feel the breath.
Remember who you are.
Notice your feet and what's beneath them.
Soften the feet.
Breathe and surrender.
Soften the ankles and the calves.
Feel the vibration from the ground drawing up the legs and softening the knees and thighs.
Feel your breath.
Remember who you are.
Tighten the hips and buttocks.
Surrender the body.
Allow the body to breathe.
As you focus your attention on your hips,
Check for any tightness,
Discomfort,
Or areas of fatigue.
This is a good time to reflect on how we spend our days unseated and moving,
Leaving the hips tight.
Simply observe these thoughts and reflections.
We start now to connect to our sacral chakra.
Begin to visualize a soft yet vibrant orange wheel at the center of your hips.
Allow that orange wheel to whirl and glow.
Feel it spread across your lower body,
From your lower back to your entire hip area.
As this orange wheel expands and grows,
Feel your hips soften.
Allow your hips to be filled with vitality.
Imagine this wheel of light,
Bright,
Expanding.
Trust that this light will heal any creative blockages and freeing you of any emotional turmoil.
Now just either silently to yourself or repeating after me out loud.
Taking deep breaths.
I deserve pleasure in my life.
I absorb information from my feelings.
I embrace and celebrate my sexuality.
I can move easily and effortlessly.
Life is pleasurable.
I allow my life to be pleasurable.
I will not allow anyone to violate my boundaries.
I allow creative energy to flow freely through me.
Just take a moment here in silence.
In silence to rest in disembodied awareness.
Just breathing.
Just being.
Just being.
Just being.
Just being.
As we end this meditation,
Take a moment to express gratitude to yourself.
Gratitude for taking time to cultivate this practice.
Know that today you have done very powerful work in cleansing,
Healing,
And activating your sacred chakra.
You can gently open your eyes and begin to move your hands,
Your feet.
Let yourself reconnect to your surroundings.
