Welcome.
Just take a moment to get comfortable.
Allow your body to settle.
Your spine to gently rise.
The shoulders soften.
Hands resting easily.
And then whenever you're ready,
Allow your eyes to close.
Slowly turn your awareness inward.
And start to notice what it feels like to be you,
Right now.
Your body.
Your mind.
Your breath without needing anything to be different.
Sometimes life can pull our attention in so many different directions that we begin to lose our sense of center.
We can feel scattered,
Disconnected,
Perhaps almost untethered,
Like a loose sail caught in the wind.
So for these next few moments,
Nothing needs your attention.
Nothing needs to be solved.
This is simply time to come back to yourself.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Don't change it,
Just feel it.
The breath entering and leaving.
The body gently rising and falling.
And with each breath,
Allow your attention to turn away from everything happening outside of you and begin to settle within,
Here in your body,
In this moment.
And now,
Begin to imagine a presence sitting quietly opposite you.
You don't need to see anything clearly.
Perhaps at first you simply sense that someone is there.
Then slowly,
An outline begins to form.
Soft,
Almost translucent.
Familiar.
Until gradually you recognize yourself.
Not a perfect version of you.
Not somebody you need to become.
This is you,
Beneath everything you've been carrying.
Free from expectation.
Free from judgment.
Nothing to prove.
Nothing to perform.
The loving part of you that has never stopped being there.
And if the image feels distant today,
That's okay.
You don't need to force anything.
Simply allow the possibility that this part of you is here.
Slowly allow your eyes to meet.
Look into the eyes of this other expression of you and allow them to look back.
Notice the softness in their gaze.
No judgment.
No disappointment.
No expectation.
Nothing you need to explain.
Nothing you need to defend.
This part of you knows.
It knows what you've been carrying.
The places where you struggled.
The times you felt certain.
And the times you felt lost.
It knows all of you.
And still it looks at you with love.
Let yourself experience what it feels like to be completely seen and not asked to change.
Now watch this version of you slowly raising one hand and reaching towards you.
The palm comes to rest softly over the center of your chest,
Over your heart.
Imagine the warmth of the hand.
The gentle weight of the palm.
Study.
Reassuring.
Feel your chest rise and fall.
The hand isn't trying to change anything.
It's simply there.
A gentle reminder that you're not alone.
And as you look into your own eyes,
Perhaps you hear the softest voice saying,
It's okay.
You don't have to solve anything right now.
Just stay.
After a while,
You feel the hand leave your heart,
Then both hands come to rest upon your shoulders.
Feel their warmth.
Their steadiness.
The reassurance of the contact.
As you keep looking into your own eyes.
Perhaps this presence doesn't feel quite so separate anymore.
There's something deeply familiar,
As though you aren't meeting somebody new,
But remembering a part of yourself you had simply lost sight of.
And then in your own voice you hear,
It's time to come home.
This other expression of you begins to move closer.
Until their forehead comes to rest gently on yours.
And still resting upon your shoulders.
Your eyes meet for one final moment.
And then you both allow them to close.
Aware of your breathing.
And imagine that you can sense theirs too.
Perhaps at first two separate rhythms,
Yours and theirs.
Don't try to synchronise them.
Simply allow one breath to find the other.
Until perhaps you breathe in together.
And breathe out together.
Two breaths,
Settling into one rhythm.
As they find their shared rhythm.
Perhaps their heartbeats begin to find one another too.
Nothing you need to feel precisely,
Just a sense of two hearts settling into the same gentle rhythm.
Now move your awareness to the warmth coming from the hands resting on your shoulders.
Perhaps the warmth coming from them starts to feel as though it's actually coming from within you.
The reassurance you felt beneath the hand upon your chest now lives within your own chest.
And the breath you were listening for in another has become indistinguishable from your own.
Gradually the sense of two separate beings is softening.
Not because this presence is leaving.
But because you recognize it was never separate from you.
The kindness was yours.
The reassurance was yours.
The steadiness,
The love already within you.
Let the image soften now.
Let the outline fade.
Until there's only you.
One body.
One breath.
One heart.
Now let every remaining image fall away.
No hands upon your shoulders.
No forehead touching yours.
No figure sitting in front of you.
Just feel yourself here.
Feel the whole weight of your body.
The support beneath you.
The steadiness of ground below.
Notice the effortless movement of your breath.
Nothing pulling you away.
Nothing you need to search for.
Fully here.
Fully present.
At home within yourself.
I invite you now to take a deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Feel yourself here,
Grounded in your body.
Connected to your heart.
Connected to yourself.
And as you prepare to open your eyes.
Carry this connection with you.
Let it guide the way you move through the rest of your day.
The choices you make.
And the things you choose to let go of.
Stay close to yourself today.
Trust that inner feeling.
And remain true to who you are.
And then when you're ready.
Slowly open your eyes.
And step back into your day.
Grounded.
Align.
And at one with yourself.
Namaste.
