Welcome to this guided visualization to help you feel safe and expressing yourself authentically.
Please relax and settle into the space wherever you are,
Sitting or lying down comfortably.
I invite you to choose however you'd like to take this meditation,
Eyes open or closed,
It's your choice.
And so begin to breathe more deeply,
Drawing the air from around you in and down into your body,
Allowing it to fill you up and to nourish you,
And then letting go of what you don't need,
Allowing the natural rhythm of the breath to help you ground into this moment.
And the intention with this meditation is to explore self-expression.
If you feel blocked,
Held back,
Fearful or doubtful when it comes to expressing yourself,
There might be one or more limiting beliefs that are driving these feelings.
I invite you to use your imagination to visualize what you believe will happen if you were to express yourself freely and openly.
Allow the images into your mind and just feel all the emotions that come along with them.
You might feel tension in the throat area or in the chest,
The shoulders and back.
Just let these feelings in.
I invite you to visualize a bright blue beam of light flowing from above you,
Down through the top of your head,
Into your throat,
Down into your heart space,
Right down to the bottom of your spine.
Feel this light powerfully glowing throughout you,
Dissolving any tension,
Clearing any space that it passes through.
Feel your throat space opening,
Your shoulders relaxing,
Your chest feeling open and clear.
As this light beams throughout you,
I invite you to use your imagination again to visualize a scene in which you're speaking with clarity,
With openness and confidence.
Feel the power of the light working through you as you speak,
Helping you to feel safe and grounded.
Allow yourself to fully absorb all the emotions in your visualization,
To feel the expansiveness of being in your full expression.
It is safe to express yourself.
It is safe to be who you are.
You are valued and loved.
Whenever you feel ready,
You can ground back into the space that you're in by taking some small movements,
Opening your eyes if they've been closed,
Taking a deep nourishing breath.
