Hi,

I'm Charlotte.

Thank you for being here,

Listening to this meditation.

It's likely that you've chosen this meditation because you're dealing with anxiety that might feel uncomfortable and intense.

I'm here to help you work through the anxiety by guiding you through a gentle process to neutralize and release it.

Firstly,

I invite you to get as comfortable as possible,

Seated or lying down,

Whatever works for you.

Feel into the sensation of your body,

Lying down or seated,

Being grounded,

Supported and held.

Allow yourself to breathe in whatever way is working for you at the moment and gradually lengthen and extend the breath.

So that you ease into a natural deepening that takes you further into relaxation.

And while your breath is extending,

Let the sensations that you recognize as anxiety just be there.

We don't want to change them or push them away,

But to invite them into your body as a messenger that we're here to listen to.

Know that all emotions are is energy filtered through the lens of our belief systems.

Notice how this energy sits within you now,

Inside your physical body.

How is it expressing itself?

It might be expressed through tightness or restriction,

Cold or heat.

Just locate the sensations and allow yourself to feel the energy in motion.

This is your energy.

It belongs to you.

And that means you can choose what to do with it.

As you're holding this energy that you recognize as anxiety in your body,

Ask yourself,

What am I believing to be true in this moment?

Just ask the question and notice what comes up.

Beliefs are narratives that we choose to buy into.

That means you can choose to believe something that you prefer.

How would you prefer to feel in this moment?

What would you need to believe in order to feel that way?

Allow yourself now to feel all the sensations and emotions that come into your body when you think about this new belief.

Really feel into it as though you believe it with all your heart.

This is the power of belief.

Beliefs can be chosen.

Notice how your perception of this energy inside your body has changed.

You are a powerful alchemist.

Allow yourself to be in this new perception.

Allow yourself to be in this new perception.

And know that you're deserving of peace,

Joy and love.

So when you feel ready,

You can gently bring yourself back into the moment by making some gentle movements.

Opening your eyes.

Noticing what's around you.

Thank you for taking this time to reflect and for being willing and open to choosing your preferred reality.

You can return to this meditation whenever you're feeling discomfort or distress.

And you might find that over time it becomes easier to live more joyfully,

More peacefully and with more presence.
