In this clear vision meditation,
We'll soften the outer eyes and turn awareness inward toward the quiet center of the head.
Through a guided journey into the forest,
The cave,
Into the chamber of clear vision.
You'll be invited to release the need to force images or answers.
Instead,
You will allow symbols,
Impressions,
Colors,
Or new perspectives to arrive naturally.
Simply let the practice meet you where you are and trust that inner vision can be subtle,
Spacious,
And clear.
Begin by letting your body settle.
Feel the support beneath you.
And allow your breath to move naturally.
Just let your body know that for the next few minutes,
There's nowhere else you need to be.
Bring your awareness to your feet and legs.
Tighten the muscles briefly.
And let them relax.
Let your legs become heavy and supported.
Tighten your hips,
Your belly,
And your back.
Their release.
Noticing the difference between tension and relaxation.
Squeeze your shoulders,
Arms,
And neck.
Then allow them to rest as well.
Now bring your attention to your face.
Tighten your jaw and let it soften.
Let your tongue relax.
Squeeze your mouth and cheeks.
And ruins.
Tighten your forehead,
Then allow it to smooth.
Notice the muscles around the eyes.
Intentionally relax all of these small muscles.
Imagine the eyes resting gently back in their sockets.
No longer needing to look outward.
Let the backs of the eyes soften.
Let the space behind the eyes become aware.
Allow your attention to move away from the surface of the face and inward.
Toward the space behind the brow.
Then let your awareness drift even deeper toward the quiet center of the head.
Turning away from outer sight and toward inner vision.
Now imagine yourself standing in a wide meadow at the edge of a forest.
The meadow is open and spacious.
The air is clear and clean.
And the ground beneath you feels firm.
Ahead of you,
The forest awaits your presence.
Begin walking toward the trees.
As you enter the forest.
Notice the outer whorl becoming softer.
You see the trees rising around you and light filtering gently through the branches.
Continue walking until Stone begins to appear ahead.
The entrance so the cave comes into view.
When you reach the cave,
Pause briefly.
Behind you is the living forest,
And before you is the stillness of the cave.
Take a breath,
And when you're ready,
Step inside.
The air becomes cooler and the sounds and colors become muted.
Your awareness begins to gather inward again,
Away from the outer eyes.
And deeper into the center of the head.
Continue forward through the cave.
The passages wide and flat with just enough light to guide you.
Soon,
You arrive near the chamber of inner knowing,
The chamber of your inner compass.
Simply acknowledge it as you pass.
Nearby is the Chamber of Clear Hearing,
Which is home to your inner listening.
Acknowledge this chamber too.
Today you continue forward.
As you move deeper into the cave,
Another opening begins to reveal itself,
Inviting you to enter.
This is the entrance to the Chamber of Clear Vision.
Step into it when you are ready.
The passage opens into a smooth stone chamber.
At the center of the chamber is a still pool of clear,
Dark water.
Find a place beside the pool and let yourself settle there.
Bring your awareness again to your physical eyes.
Then,
Allow your attention to move inward.
Toward the space behind the brow.
And deeper still.
Bring your awareness again to your physical eyes.
Then,
Allow your attention to move inward.
Toward the space behind the brow.
And deeper still.
Toward the center or back of the head.
Imagine your awareness resting there.
Clear vision is not always a picture.
It can present as a symbol,
A color,
A dreamlike impression,
Or a new way of seeing something that once felt confusing.
Sometimes clear vision is not seeing more.
But instead seeing without distortion.
Let the pool and the chamber represent your inner field.
If the surface is rippled,
Busy,
Or unclear,
That is okay.
Simply breathe.
Continue to soften the eyes.
And allow the water to settle in its own time.
Now imagine the pool reflecting a soft point of light near the center of the water.
As you rest with it,
Allow that same point of light to appear within the quiet center of your head.
Let this light clear away anything that has been clouding your vision.
Let it soften old images,
Old fears,
Assumptions,
And any projections that are not yours to carry.
Allow the outer eyes to rest.
Making the inner field clearer.
Now silently offer this question into the chamber.
What am I ready to see more clearly?
And wait for a response.
There is no need to reach for an answer.
Do not search the water.
Just let the surface remain soft.
You may notice an image or color,
A shape,
Symbol,
Or a feeling.
You may notice only darkness or stillness.
Whatever comes up is welcome.
Just allow it to be present.
Let yourself receive it without judgment.
Now imagine the pool becoming even quieter.
The surface smooths.
The chamber around you grows still.
The outer eyes rest completely and your awareness gathers at the center of your head.
Nothing clear appears.
Trust the stillness.
You have already done the hard work.
You have entered the chamber.
You have softened the outer eyes.
You have turned your attention inward.
For today,
That is enough.
You you As you rest by the pool,
Repeat silently.
I give myself permission to see clearly.
I give myself permission to see what is true.
Take a breath here.
Feel the stillness of the pool.
Feel the awareness at the center of your head.
Feel the difference between looking and seeing.
Between forcing and allowing.
When you are ready,
Thank the Chamber of Clear Vision.
You may place a hand over your brow or heart,
Or simply offer your gratitude inwardly.
Begin to step away from the pool and return to the passage.
As you move back through the cave.
Notice again the Chamber of Clear Hearing and the Chamber of Clear Knowing nearby.
Each chamber remains available to you.
Continue walking toward the cave entrance.
The air begins to shift.
The sounds of the forest slowly return.
The light changes as you approach the cave entrance.
Pause for a moment before you exit the cave.
Behind you are the chambers,
And within you is the memory of a still pool.
Ahead of you is the forest path.
Step back into the forest.
Notice the trees,
The light,
The movement of the leaves,
And the path beneath your feet.
Let your outer vision return slowly.
Without losing the steadiness of your inner vision.
Continue walking until the trees begin to open and a meadow appears ahead.
Step out into the wide open space.
You notice the sky above you.
Feel the earth beneath you and sense the air all around you.
Bring your awareness back to your physical body.
Feel your hands,
Your feet,
Your breath.
And the support beneath you.
Allow your eyes to remain soft,
Even as you return.
Carry with you only what is useful.
Allow the rest to settle,
Like water returning to stillness.
When you're ready.
Gently open your eyes.
