Here's a short five minutes meditation to drop into your heart any time,
At any moment.
Just cultivating the calm and peace within.
So if you'd like to join me and close your eyes,
Find your comfortable seat or lying down position,
Really feeling the support of the earth beneath you.
Feeling the support of the backrest behind you and really visualizing the contours of your body,
Where your body meets the earth,
Where your body meets the air and bringing your awareness within,
Feeling the earth element within through the weight of your body,
Feeling the water element within through the blood pumping through your bloodstream,
Finding the air element within through the air that you're breathing in and out,
The fire element within,
The fire that is producing heat in your body,
That is digesting foods,
That is processing information and the space within,
The space you're creating now,
The space between your cells,
Just feeling all of these elements within and around you,
That infinite connection with the earth,
With the reality that surrounds you.
And I feel your heart beat,
Feel your heart beating in your chest,
Observing that heart beat.
Is it fast?
Is it slow?
Is it rhythmed?
Just observe.
What is your heart beating for today?
What does your heart need?
What is your heart singing for?
What makes your heart sing?
Feeling that expansion and contraction with each heart beat,
Feeling each contraction like a way to go within,
An expansion,
A way to come out,
To release anything that needs to be released.
And placing your hands over your hearts now,
Taking one big breath in through the hands and exhaling out.
Inhaling in,
Softening the belly,
The chest,
The back,
Inflating everything and exhaling,
Exhaling out,
Releasing,
Softening.
Inhaling,
Inflating the chest,
The belly,
The back and exhaling out.
And emit some gratitude towards yourself for making those five minutes today to connect with your heart,
To connect within,
Without trying to fix anything or change anything,
Just cultivating these moments of connection and peace.
