Hello beautiful,

This is a meditation for anyone currently affected by the LA fires near or far or any other really catastrophic events happening,

Affecting your community,

Affecting your life.

And this is just a space for you to ground,

To regulate,

To recharge,

To reconnect within and to reconnect with that sense of support.

So you can pour your compassion,

Kindness,

What you're here to help your community with from a place of fullness to a certain extent and really allowing yourself to recharge through this process.

So if you'd like to find your comfortable seat or your lying down position and just really allowing yourself to listen to your body's wisdom,

To ask your body what it needs right now without judgment and just giving that to yourself.

And we're going to start by taking some deep breaths.

So slowly inhaling through the nose,

Extending the inhale as much as possible,

Softening the belly,

Really inflating the breath into the belly and exhaling out slowly through the mouth.

And again,

Slowly inhaling through the nose,

Softening the belly,

Really allowing your diaphragm to need the breath,

Activating the parasympathetic nervous system and maybe holding the breath at the top for a couple of seconds.

And exhale out through the mouth.

Slowly,

Slowly exhale.

And again,

Inhaling into the nose,

Slowly softening the belly,

Inflating the chest,

The back,

Maybe lifting the shoulders a couple of inches away from the socket.

And exhaling out with a sigh,

Slowly exhale.

And maybe once you get to the end of your exhale,

Just holding the breath for a couple of seconds there.

And slowly allow your breath to return to natural breath cycle in and out through the nose.

Or if you feel like you want to continue this active inhale and exhale,

Feel free to continue that a little bit further.

Again,

Following your body's wisdom and visualizing a white light sat above your head.

We're going to draw in this white light through the crown of the head,

The forehead,

Allowing the whole face and neck and shoulders to soften with this white light,

Allowing that whole white light to travel through the upper and lower bodies,

All the way into the legs and feet,

Into the earth.

And as this white light is trickling down your whole body,

Just allowing yourself to release any tension from the forehead,

The jaw,

The neck,

The shoulders,

Belly,

The pelvis,

The legs,

The arms.

And if there's anything,

Any thoughts,

Any beliefs that you want to leave behind,

Anything that doesn't serve you in this present moment,

Just allow this white light to wash it away and to release it into the earth,

Into the soul of the earth.

And then feeling the support of the earth beneath your seat,

Beneath your feet,

Beneath your back.

Really feeling the earth like two giant hands supporting you in this present moment,

Inviting you to fully surrender,

To fully be held.

Maybe visualizing some roots growing deep into the earth from the sole of your feet,

From the base of your spine,

Allowing those roots to grow deep and wide,

To split,

To cross.

And with your next inhale,

I invite you to draw in whatever you want to call in,

Whatever you need to invite in.

It can be support,

It can be nourishment,

It can be calm,

Groundedness.

Just trust whatever comes up.

And feel that which you've called in being drawn in through those roots all the way into the body.

And allow your whole body to be upgraded by that which you've called in,

All of your cells,

All the way to the ends of your feet,

Of your hands,

Of your hair.

And maybe allowing that to even fill up more than your physical body,

To fill up your energetic body.

And allow this bubble,

This energetic bubble around you to be filled with this white light,

Upgraded by that which you've called in.

And start tuning into your heart.

Maybe you can feel your heartbeat in this present moment.

Maybe you can't and that's okay.

And then feeling your heartbeat,

Visualizing this heartbeat of yours like a wave expanding from the center of your chest into the space around you.

And maybe thinking about the heartbeats of the other people in the building that you're in,

In the streets,

In the city,

The whole planet Earth.

And feeling the heartbeat of all the other beings.

Maybe you can even feel that sense of expansion and contraction coming from the center of the Earth,

Coming from the whole universe.

Feeling that connectedness between all things,

That support between all things,

Always available.

And then returning to the center of your heart again,

I invite you to draw in this sense of compassion and kindness,

A sense of love.

Maybe you can connect to the last time you felt deep love.

Maybe it's really hard to connect with this emotion right now and that's okay.

You can tune into this sense of compassion and kindness and connection.

And allow these emotions to pour into your whole being,

Into your physical and energetic bodies.

Again,

Filling up your bubble with this sense of compassion and kindness,

Of gratitude for being alive.

And whatever else comes up,

Just allow your heart to pour that into your being,

Into the space around you.

And if you want to pause here,

You can pause here again,

Checking in with yourself.

And if you feel like expanding this compassion,

Kindness,

And love around you,

Allow it to follow the waves emitted by your heart,

By your heartbeat.

And to fill up the space around you.

And again,

To cover up the whole planet Earth.

Maybe even to cross the love from the other hearts,

From the other beings.

And allow all of this love to fill up the whole universe.

Feeling that one pulsation of love in all of its forms and colors.

Then returning to the center of your chest.

Maybe placing your hands on top of your chest.

Maybe the left hand first and the right hand on top.

Or whichever comes first,

There's no right or wrong.

And tuning into the sensation of your heart beating inside of your chest.

Observing there's no right or wrong,

There's no too fast or too slow.

Just trusting it's exactly the way it's supposed to be right now.

And then really anchoring this feeling of connectedness,

Of support.

And taking three deep breaths.

Inhaling in through the nose.

And exhaling out through the mouth with a sigh.

And again inhaling in through the nose.

And exhaling out through the mouth with a sigh.

And one final time,

Inhaling in through the nose.

Again softening the belly.

And exhaling out.

And before you open your eyes,

Remember,

Remind yourself that you can check in at any time.

Just placing your hands on your chest,

Feeling your own heartbeat.

That one pulsation that connects you to the universe,

That connects you to all other life beings.

And remember the importance of keeping your batteries recharged,

Keeping your nervous system regulated,

And finding a moment to ground in nature,

To be held by loved ones,

To be heard,

To ask for help,

To ask for support.

And allowing yourself to receive all the love that you give as well.
