Welcome to this short meditation to do at any time of the day to recharge your energy.
So maybe you're feeling a little bit tired,
Maybe you just need a moment away from the screen and maybe instead of rushing for coffee or sugar to give you that boost,
Allow this moment to be the boost that you're looking for.
So find your comfortable seat,
Allow your awareness to draw inwards and maybe make abstraction to the sounds around you and really focus into the here and now,
Slowly close your eyes and we will begin by taking some deep breaths,
Inhaling into the chest,
Inviting some air,
Some space into the belly,
Into the back,
Really inflating your lungs all the way to the maximum and exhale out,
Softening and again inhaling into the chest,
Into the belly,
Into the back,
Inhaling to the maximum and holding the breath for a second and exhale out,
Release it all and again one more time we're going to inhale into the chest,
Into the belly,
Into the back as if you're inhaling all the space from around you,
From the room,
From the day that you've just lived,
All inside of you and with your exhale you're just going to release everything and let go of everything and really becoming aware of the sensations of the body and if there's any space of the body that's feeling a bit tense allowing that tension to be diffused,
To be released,
Bringing a softening breath into that part of the body,
You can allow your breath to return to its normal cycle,
Breathing in and out through the nose and just observing,
Allowing each of the parts of the body from the crown of the head to the toes to release,
To relax,
To soften,
Letting go of all the tensions will make space for dynamism and energy to come in.
If there's any tension in the jaw,
The neck,
In the hips,
In the hands,
Allowing those parts to soften and we're going to place our awareness into the part of the body that's between the chest and the belly button,
Just between the rib cage,
Around where our stomach is and if that place of the body is a bit crunched right now allowing a sense of softening,
A sense of space and visualizing a spiral in that part of the body,
Doesn't matter how you're drawing this spiral,
Just visualizing that spiral and feel this connection between this part of the body and the Sun outside and feel as if with each inhale you're drawing in heat from the Sun,
Maybe today is a cloudy day but the Sun is always here behind the clouds,
Maybe you're listening to this in the evening but the Sun is always here and allowing the Sun to charge you with each breath in and with each breath out you're diffusing this heat,
This fire activation into your whole body,
Allowing each breath in to invigorate you a little bit more and each breath out to spread this evenly throughout the whole body,
Within all of your cells,
Organs,
Muscles and bones,
Maybe you can even draw in a color,
Golden rays,
Like golden rays of sunshine and allowing your whole body to feel this heat,
Allowing maybe this heat to radiate around you then when you're ready bring your attention into your heart,
Maybe placing your hands over your heart,
Feeling that heartbeat of yours and know that that heartbeat is your anchor,
Doesn't matter if it's beating fast or slow,
It's beating and it's your unique song and resonance and with the next inhale through the nose,
Active inhale,
Plating your chest,
Your belly,
Your back and exhale and again inhaling through the nose and exhale out and with the next inhale we're gonna inhale one more time and exhale out and come back into the space,
