Make yourself comfortable in whatever position you would like to be in,
Either seated or lying down.
And once you're comfortable,
If you're happy to close your eyes,
Go ahead.
Or if you prefer,
You can lower your gaze.
Once you're comfortable,
We'll begin with three deep,
Slow,
Long breaths.
Inhaling through the nose.
Open the mouth to exhale.
Inhaling again through the nose.
Filling up the chest and the stomach.
Exhaling fully.
Once more.
After your exhale,
Let your breath now return to its own natural rhythm.
Let it be effortless and unforced.
And we'll consciously begin to relax the muscles,
Softening the face,
Skin around the eyes,
Your jawline,
Scalp,
Your neck,
Shoulders,
The upper and lower body,
And all four limbs.
Letting go of any tension,
Tightness or stress that you're holding within your body.
Let it go,
Just for this one moment.
Feel your body getting heavier,
Looser and lighter.
And as you let go of your body and tensions within your body,
Also let go of your thoughts and give yourself that permission if you need to,
To simply be with yourself,
With your breath,
With this one moment of letting go.
Trusting yourself,
Trusting even the ground beneath you or the support around you.
Trusting each breath as it comes and it goes,
Just for this moment in your day.
