Hi,
Frankie here,
And welcome to this meditation focusing on releasing emotional pain and resetting the nervous system.
This meditation combines elements of somatic awareness,
Visualization,
And energy techniques to foster emotional release and self-compassion.
Let yourself get comfortable seated or lying down in any position that feels natural and relaxed,
Closing your eyes,
And place one hand on your heart and the other hand on your belly.
Let's start by centering,
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it for a moment,
And now slowly exhale.
Take another like this,
In,
Hold,
And slowly release.
That's right,
Nice deep breaths in,
Holding the breath and slowly releasing and relaxing.
With each deep breath you're taking,
Let your breath allow you to soften and settle into the present moment.
Let go of the day's distractions and gently bring your focus to this moment,
To your body and your breath.
Tuning into your body,
Take a moment to scan your body from your head all the way to your toes.
Notice any areas that are feeling tense,
Tight,
Or heavy.
If you sense any discomfort or tension,
Don't push it away,
Just simply acknowledge it.
Know that your awareness and acceptance is the first step to release.
With each breath imagine sending a gentle wave of warmth into any areas that feel tight or uncomfortable.
Identify and name any emotions you would like to release.
Now I invite you to bring to mind any specific emotion or thought that has been weighing you down lately.
It could be stress,
Sadness,
Worry,
Or anything else.
When you find this feeling,
Give this feeling a name,
As if you are labelling it with gentle compassion.
Now say quietly to yourself the name of the emotion.
Let the emotion know that you see it and that you are here for it.
Say the words,
I see you and I'm here for you.
Allow yourself to feel whatever arises without any judgement.
Recognise that it's okay to feel this way.
We are now going to work on release through breath and light.
On your next inhale imagine breathing in warm healing light.
Visualise this light entering through the top of your head and filling your entire being.
Now on your next exhale imagine any emotional pain or tension in your body moving towards this light,
Gently dissolving and being released.
Picture it like a cloud drifting away with each exhale.
With each breath feel yourself becoming lighter and more open and at peace.
We are now going to do some EFT tapping for emotional release.
Now with one or both hands gently start tapping your fingers onto your collarbone.
With each tap repeat quietly,
I release what no longer serves me.
I am open to peace.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am open to peace.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am open to peace.
Feel the rhythm of the tapping calming your body,
Creating a sense of safety and allowing your nervous system to reset.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am open to peace.
As you release the tapping now let's bring in affirmations for safety and healing.
You can repeat these after me or say them in your mind.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
I trust my body to support me.
Say them all together now.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
One more time.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
Feel a sense of strength and resilience in these words grounding you into your own healing power.
Let's say them two more times.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
I am safe.
I am healing.
I trust my body to support me.
Once again,
Feel a sense of strength and resilience in these words grounding you into your power to heal.
As we close this meditation,
Take a final deep breath in.
Fill yourself with gratitude and peace.
And slowly exhale.
Knowing that you can return to this place of peace and calm within whenever you need to.
You can use this practice as a daily tool to nurture your emotional healing and inner peace.
I wish you well on your healing journey.
Namaste.
