Hello,
My name is Debbie,
And I'm here to lead you in a Christian meditation where we will repeat affirmations found in God's Word.
Find a quiet,
Meditative place free from distractions.
You might want to practice this sitting in a chair with your feet on the floor,
Or maybe in a comfortable place where you can lie down with your spine extended long.
Eyes can be open in a soft gaze,
Not really focused on anything in particular.
Or you can practice this with your eyes closed.
Alternatively,
If it works better for you,
You can even listen to this while going on a meditative walk.
This meditation is interactive.
You will be asked to respond to some prompts,
Which you can answer out loud or silently.
And you will be invited to repeat the affirmations found in Scripture.
So with that.
.
.
With that,
Go ahead and get settled and prepare as we are about to begin.
God's divine power provides you with everything you need for a godly life.
It is only for you to be open to,
Accept,
And receive.
Jesus spoke about the soil of your heart being integral to a vibrant spiritual life.
You will begin this practice by preparing the soul of your heart to accept what God has offered you.

In God's Word,
It says,
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am God.
Notice the air as it passes through your nostrils and enters your body and fills your abdomen.
Notice the air in the reverse as it leaves your abdomen and chest and exits through your nostrils.
Present in this very moment.
Let your attention be totally connected to your breath as it flows in and out.
Bring all of your attention to the expansion and contraction.
Bring all of your attention to the expansion and contraction of your abdomen as you breathe deeply in and out.
With each exhalation,
Release all tension held in your body.
Let go.
Breathe out any holdings anywhere in your body.
Use your breath to progressively enter a deeper level of stillness and silence.
Now we will silently breathe in the phrase,
God's peace,
Three times.
Until your lungs are full.
And on the next breath out,
Repeat the word or phrase,
God's peace,
Until the exhalation is complete.
Breathe in God's peace.
God's peace.
God's peace.
And breathe out God's peace.
God's peace.
God's peace.
And continue until I ask you to stop.
Now breathe easily and naturally as you repeat the phrase.
Deeply engaged and completely absorbed.
Feel every cell of your body deeply hearing and receiving this phrase.
Now allow your breath to return to normal.
Feel the energetic impact of this phrase in the form of pulsations in the body.
Your energy allows the phrase to,
To bring peace into your body and allows that peace to grow and expand.
Experience it.
Energy follows attention.
Let your mind melt and merge in the river of the presence of the Holy Spirit flowing through your body.
Scripture tells us that we enter into his gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and into his courts with praise.
Listen to the following prompts.
And respond with what comes to mind.
There is no right or wrong answer.
And your answers can be from a recent event or from something far in the past.
And if nothing comes to mind,
That is okay too.
You just say thank you God.
The first prompt.
Thank you God for meeting my needs.
When?
Number two.
I am thankful for the following blessings.
Three.
I experienced wisdom when?
Four.
Thank you God for healing me when?
Second Peter chapter one says God's divine power has given you everything you need for life and godliness.
In John 15 it says,
Abide in me and my words and you and you will bear much fruit.
Accept and repeat the following truths.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I have everything I need for life and godliness.
I have all the talents,
Gifts and abilities I need.
God supplies all of my needs according to his riches and glory.
I invest my talents and they multiply.
As I abide in Christ,
He strengthens me.
God supplies all of my needs according to his riches and glory.
God fills me with power,
Love,
And self-discipline.
I have power,
Love,
And self-discipline because he has provided it to me.
I am a new creation.
All things become new.
As I abide in Christ,
I live in inner peace.
I have a love for myself and others.
I experience joy.
I am patient with myself and others.
I am kind with myself and others.
I am good to myself and others.
I am faithful.
I am gentle with myself and others.
I have self-control over my tongue,
Thoughts,
Actions,
And habits.
I accept God's blessings and grace.
I am worthy.
He loves me.
I am more than a conqueror.
I am safe.
He protects me.
I am secure.
He defends me.
I have what I need.
He provides to me.
I choose to ruminate on whatsoever things are true,
Noble,
Right,
Pure,
Lovely,
Admirable,
Excellent,
And praiseworthy.
I choose to think on these things as I am encouraged in Philippians 4.
8.
I am a new creation.
I am a brand new person.
Old things are passed away.
Behold,
All things become new.
I live in the truth.
The truth of who God is and who He is in me and what He has provided.
Amen.
So be it.
In the strength of the affirmations found in Scripture,
We prepare for the rest of our day.
You are welcome,
If you are walking and alert,
To go ahead and continue with your day.
But if you are lying down with your eyes closed or seated,
You can begin to become aware of the rising and falling of your breath.
You can feel the quality of the air as it touches your skin.
You can gradually begin to move as if you are waking from a restful time in stillness and peace.
Take your time.
Do not hurry.
Feel the safety,
Comfort,
And protection of the Holy Spirit.
Continue to stay deep in this deep inner experience.
Regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed,
Know that something deep within has shifted to connect you with these affirmations,
With the truth of Scripture.
Become aware of your body and bring a deep sense of God's peace and contentment with you as you bring attention back to the body.
Notice how relaxed the body is.
How soft the breath is.
Be still and know that I am God.
Notice how silent the mind is.
How quiet the heartbeat is.
Be still and be grateful.
Know that you can easily enter here again and again.
Now you may gradually open your eyes.
Have a blessed day.
