Hi,
I'm Brad.
Welcome to the Pre-Performance Reset,
A guided practice from the available mind.
This practice is about four minutes.
What we are here to do is to restore access.
Your skill already exists.
Your preparation is complete.
What this practice does is clear the noise between you and what you already know how to do.
Now,
Pressure narrows.
It pulls our attention inward,
Tightens our body,
And activates systems designed for survival rather than performance.
That's biology doing exactly what it was built to do.
This practice interrupts that narrowing.
Four minutes to return to the body,
Quiet what doesn't belong,
And open access to what you have already built.
Find your position.
Close your eyes if the situation allows.
If not,
Simply soften your gaze.
Let's begin.
Feel where your body is holding right now.
The jaw,
The hands,
The shoulders,
The chest.
Just locate it.
One long exhale.
Let the body actually release,
Not just perform releasing.
Let's take a full inhale through the nose.
And hold.
Now,
A slow,
Deliberate exhale.
Clear until the lungs are empty.
Another full inhale.
And hold.
And a complete exhale.
Your body is beginning to remember what it knows.
Bring your attention to a single point.
One thing.
The first action.
The next move.
The opening moment of what you're about to do.
Just that.
Everything else is noise right now.
Competent noise,
But noise.
What is the one thing that begins this?
Hold it.
Clearly.
Without force.
The preparation is already inside you.
You do not need to think your way through what you have already built.
You only need to stop interrupting it.
Loosen your grip.
Literally,
If you're holding on to something,
Let your hands soften.
Drop in your shoulders more.
One breath.
The kind that fills the lower lungs first.
Fill your feet on the ground,
Or your body in the seat.
Whatever is beneath you.
Let it hold you.
You're here.
You're ready.
Not because you feel ready,
But because you have done the work.
Let's take one final breath.
Inhale.
Slow.
Full.
Deliberate.
Pause at the top.
And exhale.
Complete.
Unhurried.
Your access is open.
Trust what you've built.
And go.
So that's it.
No more preparation.
No more thinking.
The next minutes belong to execution.
When the noise comes,
And it may,
Return to one thing.
The next action.
Just that.
One at a time.
You've done the work.
Now let it work.
I'm Brad,
And this has been the Pre-Performance Reset from the Available Mind.
Thank you for joining.
