Here is a guided meditation that also has three minutes of silence. The guided part invites you to imagine a divine hat rack that will help you find your way through the silence in extraordinary mode where breathing is everything. A simple mantra offered will also help. The primary invitation is to relax and enjoy meditating.

Hello and welcome.

I'm so glad you're here.

If you can,

Please close your eyes and exhale.

Maybe even sigh,

Ah.

As you settle into the here and now,

Let an easy,

Familiar sense of well-being fill your belly and your lungs.

Breathe in.

Even more in.

Hold.

Let's do another exaggerated inhale.

Even more.

And release.

Ah.

Okay,

Breathe with your favorite rhythm.

The one that doesn't take any thought.

During this short break from normal,

Ordinary life,

We're going to switch gears,

Go into extraordinary mode where anything is possible.

What if your busy brain could be a hat?

What if you could remove that hat from your head and place it on a divine hat rack?

What if for the next few minutes,

Without your hat,

You're not thinking at all?

No past mistakes,

No concerns about the future,

No processing feelings,

No tending to the work before you,

No obligations to yourself or others,

No dress code,

No other rules or regulations.

Just a hat on a rack in a comfortable place for your body with an easy inhale and exhale.

In a moment,

I'll ring the bell and watch the time for three minutes.

Then I'll ring the bell again.

And in between the breathing,

The ringing,

Enjoy the comfort of extraordinary mode where simply breathing is everything.

And if for some wild,

Unexplainable reason,

You find yourself wearing your busy brain hat,

Put it back on the rack and repeat this lovely,

Simple mantra.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

And let yourself be.

Hmm.

Well done.

Three minutes is a long time,

Isn't it?

Okay,

Take another exaggerated breath in.

More.

Hold it even.

Exhale.

Full of pleasure and relief.

As your eyes flutter open and you adjust to the room around you,

Remember you can ease back into your day knowing extraordinary mode is always within reach.

Thank you for being here with me together on the Insight Timer.
