Welcome in.
I'm Beth,
And this is Calm In Minutes.
Whether you're at the end of a long day,
Recovering from emotional overload,
Or simply needing a few quiet minutes to breathe.
This meditation can help you feel more grounded,
Supported,
And restored.
So find a comfortable position.
That can be seated or lying down.
And let your hands rest softly.
If it feels good,
Close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And gently exhale through your mouth.
Again.
Breathe in deeply.
And exhale,
Letting the weight of the day begin to loosen.
Give yourself this moment to stop.
You don't need to hold anyone else right now.
You don't need to solve anything in this moment.
You are only here.
Breathing,
Resting,
Allowing.
Take another slow inhale.
And as you exhale,
Imagine setting down everything you've been carrying.
The emotions,
The noise,
The pressure.
The invisible weight of being on.
Just for these few minutes.
Let it all rest beside you.
If you've been feeling emotionally drained,
Notice that gently.
Without judgment.
Without the need to push it away.
Just feel it honestly.
Give it care.
Now bring your awareness to your body,
And notice where emotional exhaustion may be living inside you.
Maybe it's your chest,
Or your shoulders,
Your stomach,
Or your throat.
Breathe into that place.
With each inhale,
Invite softness.
With each exhale.
Release what you can.
You may silently say to yourself,
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to feel what I feel.
I am allowed to come back to myself.
Take another slow breath.
And imagine a calm,
Steady light filling the center of your chest with each inhale.
This light does not ask anything from you.
It doesn't rush you.
It simply reminds you that there is still something steady within you.
Even when you feel depleted.
With every breath,
Let that light grow a little wider.
Let it move into the tired places.
The overextended places.
The parts of you that have given too much.
And now,
Let yourself receive.
Receive this breath.
Receive this pause.
Receive this quiet.
You don't always have to be the one giving.
You don't always have to keep going past your own limits.
Sometimes healing begins when you simply stop and listen to your own need for rest.
Take another deep breath in.
And a long,
Slow breath out.
Repeat.
I release what is not mine to carry.
I restore my energy with compassion.
I return to calm,
One breath at a time.
Rest here for a few final breaths.
Nothing to force.
Nothing to prove.
Only this moment of gentle renewal.
When you're ready,
Begin to notice the surface beneath you.
The air on your skin.
The quiet rhythm of your breath.
Take one final deep inhale.
And exhale completely.
As you open your eyes,
Carry this reminder with you.
Rest is not weakness.
Stepping back is not failure.
Caring for yourself is part of how you keep going.
Namaste.
