Heading to a party, dinner, wedding, work event, or family gathering where alcohol may be present? This guided meditation is for anyone who is sober, sober curious, alcohol-free, in recovery, moderating their drinking, or simply wanting to be more intentional about their relationship with alcohol. Before you head to the event, take a few moments to pause, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your values. Together, we'll explore your intentions for the event, create a mindful plan for navigating cravings or social pressure, and check in with the part of you that may believe alcohol is necessary to relax, fit in, or have fun. Using mindfulness, self-compassion, and parts work, this practice can help you approach social situations with greater confidence, self-trust, and emotional resilience. You don't need alcohol to belong. You don't need to perform to be accepted. You are allowed to show up exactly as you are.
