Welcome to this gentle lotus blossom breath practice.

This session is inspired by the lotus flower,

A symbol of peace,

Resilience,

And growth.

The lotus blooms even in still waters,

Just as we can find calm and beauty within ourselves,

No matter the circumstances.

So you can practice this standing with your feet grounded on the earth or seated in a comfortable chair with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor.

Choose the position that feels best for you today.

Take a moment to settle in.

Gently close your eyes if you feel comfortable or soften your gaze.

Let your hands rest naturally at your sides or on your thighs and just begin to notice your breath,

Letting it flow in and out effortlessly.

Breathe in and as you breathe out,

Just release any stress or tension.

Feel your body soften,

Your neck and shoulder area,

Your arms,

Hands,

Chest,

Back,

Abdomen,

Hips,

Legs,

And feet.

Relax and breathe.

Tune into the present moment.

Now,

On your next inhale,

Slowly lift your hands to chest level,

Palms facing each other as if holding a glowing ball of light between them.

This light represents your inner peace,

A source of warmth and calm that's always within you.

Just feel this energy in your hands.

It's gentle,

Soothing,

And alive.

Pause here for a moment,

Holding this light with care as if nurturing a precious gift.

On the next exhale,

Begin to move your hands outward and upward,

Spreading your fingers gently like the petals opening in the morning sun.

Visualize a beautiful lotus flower blooming at your heart center.

Each petal unfolds with grace,

Revealing vibrant colors and radiating a soft,

Glowing light.

Now,

As you inhale,

Allow your hands to rise above your head,

Palms still open,

The lotus flower floating above your crown chakra.

Visualize the lotus connecting you to a source of divine light,

Wisdom,

And peace.

Pause for a moment here,

Feeling the energy of the universe pouring into the open lotus above you.

Now,

Affirm either quietly or out loud to yourself,

I am open to receiving light,

Wisdom,

And peace from above.

Breathe those words deep into your heart.

On your next inhale,

Slowly lower your hands,

Bringing the lotus back to your heart center.

And as you exhale,

Gently close your hands,

Palms facing inward,

As if the petals of the lotus are folding inwards to protect and nurture the light within you.

Now,

Visualize this light becoming more concentrated,

A radiant source of strength and serenity deep in your heart.

Affirm quietly or out loud to yourself,

I carry the serenity of the lotus within me.

Breathe those words deep into your heart.

So,

Let's move through this flow together,

Opening and closing the lotus with your breath.

Inhale,

Lifting and gathering the energy.

Exhale,

Blooming the lotus outward and upward to your crown chakra.

Pause briefly to connect with the divine light,

Then inhale to draw the lotus back down and gently close it at your heart.

Continue in your own time.

With each cycle,

Feel yourself becoming more centered,

More present.

Your breath flows like still water,

Calm and steady.

Your movements reflect the beauty and grace of the lotus.

Once more,

Begin to move your hands outward and upward,

Now,
