Begin by getting into a comfortable position.
When you're ready,
Softly close your eyes.
Feel your body being supported by the earth.
Feel the points at which your body is connecting to the floor or the chair or the bed.
And just notice the energy of the environment around you rising up to support your physical body.
Now take three long,
Deep breaths in.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
And each time you exhale,
Feel your body becoming more and more relaxed.
As you focus on your breathing,
Tune into your heart space and let all of your awareness center in on that space.
With your focus still on your heart,
Allow yourself to become more present in your body.
Feel the energy that exists inside your body.
In this very moment,
Feel the tingles.
Feel the movement.
Feel all that you are experiencing.
Feel yourself in the now.
Peaceful,
Calm,
Balanced and centered.
Throughout this meditation,
If any thoughts or ideas come and go,
That's okay.
Just allow yourself to return to your breath and to your heart space.
I want you to imagine now that you're standing at the top of a staircase.
This is a beautiful staircase and it can be made out of whatever you'd like.
Grass,
Stone,
Rocks.
There are only 10 steps.
Big,
Wide steps.
With each breath,
We're going to start to move down the stairs as we allow ourselves to become more and more relaxed.
So taking your first breath in,
You step down.
Breathing in and out.
Take another step down tonight.
Breathing in and out.
Feeling you becoming more and more relaxed.
Stepping down again.
Breathing deeply in and out.
Just relaxing.
Letting go of any outside thoughts,
Any anxiety.
Knowing you are totally safe and protected.
Feeling totally at ease,
Step down to number 7.
Breathing in and out.
Feeling relaxed and peaceful.
Now down to 6.
Again,
Breathing in and out.
And as you step down to 5,
Notice that there is a bright light at the bottom of the staircase.
At step number 4,
Feel your body becoming more and more relaxed.
And now down to step number 3.
Noticing you are feeling like smiling.
Breathing in and out.
Seeing that bright,
Warm light.
And as you come down to the last step,
You're feeling relaxed and peaceful.
Step onto the ground now.
And notice the light is beaming through two big doors on a grassy hill.
You slowly walk up to the doors.
And using both hands and with just a little effort,
You push the doors open.
In front of you is the most beautiful garden you have ever seen.
This garden is magical and it's yours.
You may see or sense trees gently swaying in the breeze.
Or feel the greenest,
Most luscious grass.
And notice beautiful colored flowers.
The air smells clean and fresh.
And the sun feels warm on your face.
You can feel the ground under your feet.
In this beautiful place,
You remember that you intended to meet your spirit guide.
You feel the divine love all around you.
Keeping your focus on your heart.
And within the energy center of your heart,
Quietly say to yourself,
I now welcome in the highest,
Most loving spirit guide.
Notice how your heart is opening up.
And you feel completely ready and excited by the prospect of gaining greater awareness.
Looking straight ahead,
You notice a brilliant white light.
You notice the light begin to part,
Creating an opening.
And your highest,
Most loving spirit guide steps through.
Trust and know you are safe here.
What do you notice about your spirit guide as they enter in?
How does their presence feel?
And as you tune into your heart in the middle of your chest,
You feel its connection to their heart.
See the two of your hearts begin to connect with rainbow light flowing from your heart to theirs,
And theirs to yours as the being comes closer to you.
You may have a sense of who it is and how this particular essence fits into your life.
On every inhale,
You breathe in loving energy from them.
And on every exhale,
You send loving energy from you to them.
You feel so at ease.
And it's almost like you're seeing an old friend that you haven't caught up with for a very long time.
They extend their hand and offer you a crystal.
Trust what color and shape you see in the palm of their hand.
Do not worry if you think you are using your imagination,
For your imagination and your intuition are so deeply linked.
Just trust what you see.
What does the stone symbolize to you?
Trust the first thing that comes to mind,
But also be open to the idea that understanding its symbolism may unfold more and more over the coming days.
Hold the crystal in your hands,
Taking it gratefully from your guide,
And imagine yourself placing it in your heart.
And as it locks into place,
It shoots out energy through every limb,
Through every cell of your body,
Offering you a beautiful healing sensation.
You may now start to see particular expressions or features on their face,
Or you may just be able to feel the energy.
You may wish to sit with your guide,
Or go for a walk with them,
Or just to find a special spot for the two of you to talk.
As you talk,
You may want to ask your spirit guide's name.
You may get an impression of a name,
Or you may not.
You may ask them perhaps a specific question,
Or just perhaps opening up to general guidance.
Before you do so,
Just allow whatever thoughts,
Feelings,
Or sensations come to you after you ask them.
Trust and know that over the next coming days,
You may experience a deeper understanding of their guidance,
Take note of any symbols that may appear to you,
What emotions you feel,
And when you're ready,
Ask them your question,
And simply be open to hearing,
Feeling,
Or seeing the answers.
It is now time to wrap up your time with your guide.

But know that you can come back at any time.
Feel yourself embracing your guide.
Thank them for their time,
The gift of the crystal,
Their wisdom,
Their love,
And the energy they have given to be here with you today.
After you embrace,
You slowly start to move back from your guide.
And as you walk back,
Back through your beautiful garden,
You will see their white,
Bright light slowly start to disappear.
Feel the warmth of the sun and the light,
Breathe in the fresh air,
And feel the soft ground underneath you,
All the while being grateful for everything we have received.
We slowly make our ways back to the big doors,
And as we walk through them,
We see the staircase once again.
And as we slowly walk up the staircase,
Stepping onto the first step,
Take a deep breath in,
Then stepping up to the next one,
Breathing in,
Onto step number eight.
Stepping onto step number seven,
Breathing deeply in and feeling more aware of the air as it enters your chest.
Stepping up again onto six,
Breathing in and out,
Feeling the aliveness in your body.
And as you breathe,
Stepping up to five,
Feeling it deeply in your fingers and your toes,
And gently wriggling them as you step up to four,
Breathing deeply,
Feeling relaxed and peaceful,
Up to step number three.
Feeling the return to your body,
And now to step number two,
As you become more aware of your physical body.
And finally,
To the last step.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes back to the world around you.
