Hello and welcome to today's relaxation.
Take a moment to find a comfortable space to lie in.
Ideally lying on your back but if it's not comfortable to be on your back then come onto your side maybe and see if you'd like to have a pillow underneath your head and if you're on your side you may like to bend your knees and place a pillow between your knees also.
If you're lying on your back now just take a moment to notice if maybe the shoulders might like to come a little further away from the ears.
The wrists a little further away from the shoulders.
The fingers a little further away from the wrists.
The heels a little further away from the hips and a little further away from each other.
You may like to take a nice large exhale here out through the mouth as you just feel your body softening down towards whatever's supporting it.
With each exhale now just observing how the body softens down.
And releasing.
You may become a little more aware of the sounds around you.
From the subtlest of sounds to the furthest of sounds.
Just noticing all of the sounds around you.
I wonder if you can feel the breath flowing in and out of your nostrils.
You may notice that the breath is cool on the inhale.
And there's a quality of warmth to it on the exhale.
You may notice how the ribcage gently expands with the inhale.
And softness and release on the exhale.
Now bringing your awareness to the crown of your head.
And imagining that you're breathing from this space.
And imagining now as you exhale your breath flows down to the soles of your feet.
And on your inhale flows from the soles of your feet to the crown of your head.
Exhale crown of the head to the soles of the feet.
Inhale soles of the feet to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the ankles.
Inhale ankles to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the knees.
Inhale knees to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the base of the spine.
Inhale base of the spine to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the navel.
Inhale navel to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the heart space.
Inhale heart space to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the throat.
Inhale throat to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the eyebrow center.
Inhale eyebrow center.
To the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the throat.
Inhale throat to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the heart center.
Inhale heart center to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the navel.
Inhale navel to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the base of the spine.
Inhale base of the spine to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the knees.
Inhale knees to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to the ankles.
Inhale ankles to the crown of the head.
Exhale crown of the head to just beyond the soles of the feet.
Inhale just beyond the soles of the feet to just beyond the crown of the head.
And then just allowing your awareness to flow however and wherever it would like to go.
And simply noticing how that is.
How does that feel?
And then just starting to become aware once again of the sounds around you.
The air on your skin.
The support beneath you.
And inviting more energy into your inhale and feeling your inhale flowing into the whole of your body.
From the deepest parts of your body right through to the periphery.
Right through to the tips of the fingers,
Tips of the toes,
Crown of the head,
Front body,
Back body,
Whole body.
Until you might like to give yourself a good stretch or a good squeeze.
