This meditation is appropriate for both kids and adults.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either sitting up nice and tall or lying down.
If it feels comfortable for you,
Gently close your eyes or you can find a soft gaze.
Listen for the chimes.
Now begin to tune into your breath,
Noticing your inhale and your exhale.
Allow your hands to rest in your lap or beside you with your palms facing up.
Here is an optional strategy you can try called Peace Begins With Me.
It involves gently tapping your fingers against your thumb as you repeat the phrase Peace Begins With Me.
First tap your index finger to your thumb and think the word Peace.
Then tap your middle finger to your thumb and think Begins.
Next tap your ring finger to your thumb and think With.
Finally tap your pinky finger to your thumb and think Me.
Peace Begins With Me.
Continue tapping and repeating the phrase.
Peace pointer begins middle,
With ring,
Me pinky.
Peace Begins With Me.
Feel free to continue at your own rhythm,
Whispering the words or repeating them in your mind,
Whichever feels right for you.
I will ring the chimes when it's time to come back.

Now begin to deepen your breathing.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Arrive back in your space.
Float your eyes open if they were closed.
