Hello everyone and thank you for joining today's meditation.

My name is Amber Joy and I will be gently weaving us through the practice today.

This meditation focuses on the breath,

Tuning into the body,

Finding relaxation,

And coming back to our center.

My invitation for you is to come into this space with an open mind,

An open heart,

And an open spirit.

To allow yourself this beautiful gift of presence.

To allow yourself into the mystery of what could unfold if you open up the space for it.

Life is full of gifts and the unwrapping of these gifts is simply our awareness.

By expanding our perspective and our eyes to the beauty all around,

We invite life to open up to us and create room for expansiveness.

So we will begin by finding a comfortable position.

Maybe that's laying down for you,

Maybe sitting up in a chair.

Wherever you find yourself,

Start to find some grounding,

Whether that's the feet on the floor,

The hands to the floor.

Getting as comfortable as you can in this moment and gently begin to shut down the eyes,

Allowing yourself to start to come inward and begin to notice the breath.

Notice how it feels to inhale.

Is there expansiveness found there?

Does your being grow with the inhale?

Can you sense where the breath is felt in the body?

Are you able to breathe into different parts of your being?

Can you breathe into your toes?

Into your knees?

Maybe into the fingers?

Breathing in.

Now turning the attention over to the exhale.

How does it feel to release this breath from your body?

Do your shoulders gently relax as you exhale?

Does your jaw begin to unclench?

Does your stomach begin to release tension?

Noticing what's coming up for you as you place your attention on that exhale.

Now can you connect to both these aspects of your breath?

Finding this expansion with the inhale and finding a release with the exhale.

Noticing this relationship between the inhale and the exhale.

How vital both of these elements are.

Without the inhale,

There could not be an exhale.

And without the exhale,

There could not be an inhale.

Finding this loving awareness for the breath in all of its entirety.

And noticing how the same is true for expanding and releasing.

Expansion and contraction.

The weaving in and out of these two truths.

As we move through life,

There are times for expanding.

Times for growth and newness.

But there also must be times for coming back to our center.

For going inward.

And there's this relationship between the giving and the receiving.

Finding this balance is a beautiful dance that we all learn as we go.

Sacred.

What does this word mean to you?

How does it feel when you allow sacredness to swirl within you?

What words come to mind when you think of the word sacred?

There's no right,

No wrong.

Just contemplating into this word.

Would it be possible to make this moment sacred?

To make your next breath sacred?

Imagining that the air that you are breathing in,

This life force,

This energy,

Is sacred.

And with each and every inhale,

You have this opportunity,

This gift of breathing into this sacredness.

Starting at the crown of the head,

The top of the head.

Breathing it into this space.

The mind.

This sort of expansiveness that begins to unfold.

New neurons begin firing.

New connections are made.

And the breath just starts waking up all these parts in the head.

Allowing this sacredness to take up space in the mind.

Bringing in this light and beauty.

Now,

Bringing the attention to the throat.

Breathing into this area of the body.

Breathing in this sacredness to your speech.

Every word being graced by the presence of this sacred breath.

Allowing words of gratitude to burst forth.

Feeling the expansiveness of the throat.

Allowing yourself to speak your highest truth.

To be bold from a place of sacredness.

Feeling as the breath,

The energy moves to the heart center.

This sacred organ was the first to develop in your mother's womb.

This little beating beautiful heart.

Can you breathe this sacredness into this space?

Can you feel as your heart expands with every inhale?

And can you notice the more expanded your heart is,

The more that love abounds.

This beating organ keeping you alive.

Can you make it sacred?

Feeling into your heart.

What does it tell you?

If not in words,

How does it make you feel?

Now bringing your awareness down through your arms,

Into your hands.

These extensions of your heart.

Can you make these hands sacred?

Breathing this energy into the hands,

Into the fingertips.

Feeling the magic of touch.

And allowing your touch to be sacred.

Imagining that everything that you touch becomes blessed.

And that your hands bring light and love to everything you feel.

Blessing these hands with your sacred breath.

Now allowing the breath to travel down,

All the way down through your legs,

Into your feet.

And bringing this sacredness to this area.

Can you make your feet sacred?

Breathing into your sacred feet.

Blessing each and every step that you take.

Noticing just how far your feet have taken you.

The earth that you get to walk upon.

Now bringing this sacred energy,

This breath,

Throughout your entire body.

Feel as it touches every cell in your being.

Making all things new.

Moving any stagnant energy in the body.

Watch and feel as it flows up and down your being with each inhale and exhale.

Coming back to your heart.

Finding this deep,

Deep gratitude and reverence for the being that you are.

The light that you are.

How your impact ripples through others.

Your smile being sacred as it is passed to others.

The love in your eyes being sacred as you connect to the spirit of others through these portals.

And notice that it is simply by bringing your awareness into the presence that you bring in this sacredness.

That you can sprinkle this sacredness into the tiny moments of your life.

Your morning coffee can be a moment of sacredness.

Watching the sunset over the horizon can be a moment of sacredness.

Nothing in life is for certain.

But life is surely more expansive when we open ourselves up to it and bring in the sacred.

Taking a moment here to listen to what has arisen for you.

Noticing any parts that have awakened.

Notice any parts that you would like to bless.

And now with this sacred moment,

Bless your life.

Bless the small moments.

Your house,

Your job.

All of life is a sacred ceremony when we become aware to it.

Take a nice deep breath here.

Breathing in the preciousness of it all.

Maybe bringing to mind the loved ones in your life and blessing them.

Feeling their sacredness,

Their light that they bring into this world.

Their sacred smiles,

Their laughs,

Their little quirks.

The reasons why you love them so much.

And we'll take just a few moments to connect to gratitude.

Finding this deep,

Deep gratitude for every part of your body.

All working so hard to keep you alive.

To keep you moving.

Each playing its own role in your being.

This healthy,

Beautiful mind.

This beating heart.

The entire body.

Finding gratitude for this rich,

Abundant earth that we call home.

The sun that shines and brings us warmth.

Gratitude for the mundane and gratitude for the extraordinary.

And gratitude for everything in between.

Finding gratitude for other humans.

Our loved ones.

And all the humans creating such a deeper meaning for life itself.

Breathing into this feeling of gratitude.

Feeling your entire being filled with light and sacredness.

Notice how the body feels after bringing such beautiful awareness to it.

Does it feel lighter?

Calmer?

Our bodies speak to us all the time.

But we just have to pause and notice what it is saying.

Now,

In your own time,

Gently bringing your attention back into your room.

Feeling yourself as you lay or you sit.

And before opening up the eyes,

Bring this sacredness into the room.

Breathe it into your space.

And when you're ready,

Opening up your eyes.

Welcoming yourself back.

And if nobody told you this today,

You are worthy.

You are loved.

And you are sacred.

Thank you for joining this meditation.

I hope you found some grounding,

Some centering,

And some peace with this time.

Have a beautiful rest of your day.

Thank you.
