Day 5 - 'Gratitude', each day can be listened to in sequence, or returned to individually at any time. These short guided meditations, accompanied by ambient piano, guide the listener back to a state of clear and inspired awareness, helping to bring a positive and uplifting energy to their day. In sequence, they are: - Day 1 - Arrive in stillness - Day 2 - the Light of clarity - Day 3 - Setting Kindness as an intention - Day 4 - Spacious mind - Day 5 - Gratitude. Once the series has been completed, it's recommended to return the following day to each again, by returning the body and mind more deeply assimilate the teachings. The shifts are subtle, so returning helps to anchor their respective messages.

Day five.

Beginning your day in gratitude.

Welcome to this morning.

Before the day unfolds,

Let us begin with a sincere heart focused on gratitude.

Once again,

Sit comfortably on a chair.

Spine straight.

Shoulders relaxed.

Hands on your lap.

Breathing gently through your nose.

Mouth closed.

At the top of the breath,

Pause.

Then exhale slowly.

And then at the bottom of that breath,

Pause again.

So let your breathing fall into this natural rhythm.

Deep and relaxed.

Now bring to mind three simple things you feel grateful for.

They need not be large.

Perhaps all breath itself.

Steady and alive.

Perhaps feeling secure and safe in this moment.

Perhaps it's for someone you love or just the quiet presence of this morning.

Let each one rest in your heart.

Breathe them in.

Feel the warmth of appreciation.

Of gratitude.

Spreading through you.

Notice gratitude has no boundaries.

It softens the mind and brightens the spirit.

For a few moments,

Sit here in the fullness of your personal gratitude.

There is nothing to reach for.

Nothing to change.

Just this simple joy of appreciation.

Of gratitude.

Of love.

And now carry this gratitude into your day.

Let it be the foundation on which you act,

Speak and live.

The day begins and you begin it with a grateful heart.

And so these morning meditations are complete.

Refer to them at any time.

Carry their clarity with you into your first steps.

Your first thoughts.

Your first words.

May each day unfold with ease,

Brightness and conscious presence.
