So welcome everyone,
Thank you for joining me today,
Taking this time out for yourself,
For your body,
For your soul.
I invite you very gently to step into a gentle space of remembrance and self-acceptance.
Now this meditation,
Maybe for those moments when you feel like you're never doing enough,
There is always more to do,
More to be healed,
More to be fixed,
More to release,
More to be spiritual,
More to be productive.
So the space that we create today is for these tired parts of you.
The parts that whisper,
Am I doing enough,
What do I need more to fix,
Why am I still like this?
Now we'll explore this idea today,
That what if there is nothing wrong with me?
What if right now I just simply be with myself?
What if there is nothing I need to fix,
Or heal,
Or shift,
Or change?
So we'll explore this idea,
Let's begin this journey into ease,
Into presence.
And this idea that you are already whole.
Now find a quiet,
Comfortable space,
Where you can sit or lie down without distractions.
And as you're listening to my words now,
Let your eyes gently close.
Now just bring your awareness to your breath,
Find your breath.
Inhaling softly through your nose,
And exhaling slowly through your mouth.
And we'll do this again,
Inhaling softly through your nose,
And exhaling slowly through your mouth.
Let your breath be your anchor in this moment,
Observing,
Watching.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Let yourself be held,
And take a few moments to notice any places in your body that are tense or contracted.
Simply bring your breath to these areas.
As you listen to my words,
You're dropping into the place of being the listener,
The observer.
I can look,
See,
And feel any areas of discomfort and tightness in my body,
And I can say to them,
I see you,
You're allowed to be here.
Just for the next few seconds,
Minutes,
I'm going to let my whole body know this.
I see you,
And you're allowed to be here.
Notice anything that's arising in my physical body,
Nothing to improve,
Nothing to fix.
You're not here to perform any healing,
You're not here to release anything,
You're here to remember your wholeness.
And in my wholeness,
All my parts are included.
Sinking deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper into your body now.
Now,
All of us within us carry this pressure to always be better,
Always do more.
Now,
In this moment,
In this sacred space,
I'm going to bring to mind the version of me that's always thriving,
The part of me that is maybe seeking meditations,
Courses,
Books,
Podcasts,
Knowledge,
Wisdom,
Always learning,
Always healing,
Always learning,
Always healing.
And there is nothing wrong with this impulse,
Because it comes from love,
It comes from an act of self-care.
But sometimes,
Underneath,
There may be a quiet belief,
I am not good enough as I am.
I am not good enough just yet.
I need to do this before I can be,
Feel good enough.
Let's soften that belief now.
Now,
Imagine standing before yourself in a mirror.
Now,
In the mirror,
You see not only your outer reflection,
But you can see your whole inner landscape.
I can see my old self,
My own self,
In the mirror.
Not just the outer reflection,
But I can see my inner landscape.
The longing,
The pain,
The history,
The beauty,
The gifts,
The challenges,
I see all of it in front of me.
And just let that come to you,
Whichever way life is talking to you right now.
Visions,
Mind,
Body,
Just let that unfold and show up,
Whichever way it wants to.
Now,
When I have something in front of me,
When I can see the part of me that is always longing,
That always thinks it can do more,
I can say this now to myself.
I see you.
You've tried so hard.
You've carried so much.
You don't have to change for me to love you.
I see you.
You've tried so hard.
You've carried so much.
You don't have to change for me to love you.
Now,
Let these words settle into your body,
Into your soul,
Into your awareness.
Let these words settle down.
Let them speak to your nervous system.
And just allow yourself to pause,
Allow yourself to rest,
Allow yourself to reflect.
I have now tapped into this part of me that possibly doesn't feel good enough and is always longing for more.
And I have told this part,
I see you.
You've tried so hard.
You've carried so much.
And you don't have to change for me to love you.
Bring your awareness to any voices inside of you that whisper,
You're not good enough.
That tells you,
You should be more healed.
You should be more successful.
You should be more enlightened.
You should look better.
You should have a better job.
You should have a better partner.
You should be more important.
Anything else that comes from your inner critic.
I'm just calling that critic out now.
Just notice it now.
Now,
This is an energy that lives in me and I've just asked it to show up.
Just notice it.
What does this critic look like to you?
What does this voice look like to you?
Now,
Put your right hand on your belly,
On your stomach.
And say these words or receive these words.
What are you protecting me from?
What are you protecting me from?
And just notice,
Observe,
Sense and see what comes up.
So this inner critic that we all carry is simply trying to keep us safe.
You don't need to argue with this critic.
You simply need to introduce it to your inner truth.
As I'm holding my belly,
Just letting myself feel whatever is coming up.
I'm going to breathe deeply.
And just receive these words.
Even with this voice,
I am still whole.
Even with this voice,
I am still worthy.
And just notice then how your body reacts to the words.
Do I feel relief,
Relaxation,
Warmth?
Possibly another sensation.
Whatever is arising for you,
Just let it happen.
Now you tapped into the part of you that doesn't feel good enough.
You tapped into the voice that accompanies this part,
Which is your inner critic.
And you're just letting now both of them just be without arguing.
Simply being.
Even with this voice,
I am still whole.
Even with this voice,
I am still worthy.
Now for us to soften some of this belief.
And to expand on this idea that I am not broken.
You can now either repeat these words with me.
Or just receive them.
I am enough exactly as I am.
There is nothing wrong with me.
My presence is enough.
My breath is enough.
My being is enough.
I release the need to fix myself.
I allow myself to rest into who I already am.
I am perfect,
Whole and complete.
I am perfect,
Whole and complete.
Now if it feels strange to say these words,
That's okay.
Let them just plant seeds.
And they will grow slowly.
Now,
If I am still in this process.
I can pause this recording.
And I can let this download,
This exchange,
This healing happen.
To those parts of me which don't feel good enough.
Or I can begin to return to my breath.
To my body.
To this moment.
Slowly,
Gently.
I can wiggle my fingers.
Wiggle my toes.
Soften my jaw.
Roll my shoulders.
And after this breath.
When I feel comfortable.
I can open my eyes.
Now as you come back.
Ask yourself.
What would it feel like to live from knowing that I am enough?
And let this question be with you today.
What would it feel like to live from the knowing that I am enough?
And remember.
You can always return to this place within yourself.
The place that knows nothing is missing.
The place that is already whole.
So thank you everyone for being here.
And for joining me.
And Namaste.
