So hi everyone.
Thank you for joining me.
So today I invite you into a space of soft listening.
Not the noise of the outside world.
Not the loud thoughts in your mind.
But to the quiet whispers of your own body.
Now in a world that moves fast.
Where we all prioritize doing over being.
It's very easy to forget that the body has a voice.
A patient,
Wise,
Gentle,
Often whispering voice.
That is calling for our attention in every single moment.
If only we pause to listen.
Now you may have heard the phrase.
The body keeps the score and the body remembers.
It holds stories.
Stories of joy,
Sorrow,
Fear,
Safety.
And often before our conscious mind realizes.
We are overwhelmed and our body already knows.
So today we will not ask the body to do anything.
We will not demand to release or fix or change anything.
We will simply listen.
Now we might ask,
We will make this inquiry.
What do you need right now?
And then in stillness.
Whatever you need may arise for you.
Now this is the beginning of trusting your body's wisdom.
Of healing and of coming home to yourself.
So let's begin.
So find a comfortable place.
Where you can sit or lie down.
Let your hands rest gently by your side.
Or over your heart.
Or over your belly.
Whatever feels right for you in this moment.
Remember you cannot get this process wrong.
Even if you try.
Now once you have a comfortable position.
And your hands are where they need to be.
Let's try closing our eyes.
And you can start by softening your gaze if that feels right for you.
Now take a slow deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale softly.
Softly through the mouth.
And again take a slow deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale softly through the mouth.
So for a few moments continue.
To inhale through the mouth.
Exhale.
Feeling your lungs rise with every breath in.
And experiencing your stomach falling,
Your lungs falling,
Your body relaxing as you breathe out.
Breathing in through your nose.
And then out through your mouth.
Every breath in is relaxation.
And every breath out is resistance leaving your body.
Just allow your breath to settle into its own gentle rhythm.
And with each exhale.
Invite a little bit more space.
A little bit more softness into the body.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the ground beneath you.
Feel the gravity holding you.
So you don't have to hold yourself up right now.
Only if you allow your body can be held.
Any thoughts that you have right now.
You are very welcome to stay.
Just try not to engage.
Not to silence them,
Not to talk back at them.
Just let them be.
Any physical sensations I may be aware of.
Just be aware of them.
We don't want anything to go.
Just listen.
I am now dropping into the space of being the listener,
The observer and the witness.
Now.
Begin by gently bringing your awareness to your feet.
My feet on the floor,
My feet on the ground.
Just notice.
Are they tensed?
Are they relaxed?
Heavy or light?
Warm or cool?
You don't need to change anything.
Just listen.
Now very slowly.
Move your attention up to your legs.
Notice.
Notice what you notice.
My feet,
My calves,
My knees,
My legs.
I am simply aware.
Moving up a little bit more.
My hips.
My lower back.
My hips and my lower back.
Supported.
There is this hard surface that can hold my hips,
That can hold my lower back.
Anything that you notice right now.
Whether it's a discomfort,
A knees,
A warmth,
A cold,
A tingling.
Just notice.
Now.
You can repeat these words silently or out loud.
And we'll say this three times.
I am listening.
I am listening.
I am listening.
I am listening.
Notice any subtle changes that may have arisen for you.
As you drop these words into your body.
And simply be aware of that feeling.
Now.
Now.
Let this awareness move up to your belly.
If you feel comfortable,
You can place one hand there.
Only if it feels right for you.
I am aware of my belly right now.
And I have my hand over it.
What I am noticing now is the natural rise and fall of my belly with every breath.
Rise and fall with each breath.
Now,
Once again,
Very gently.
We'll drop these words into the body.
And we'll say them three times.
Like you're speaking to a dear friend,
To a child,
To a loved one.
We say.
What do you need right now?
What do you need right now?
What do you need right now?
Now,
Just wait.
We don't need to force any answer,
Any feeling.
You might sense a word,
An emotion,
An image,
A feeling.
Or nothing at all.
That's perfectly okay.
Anything that I'm sensing,
Feeling and experiencing in my body right now.
Is perfectly welcome.
Now let's continue our gentle exploration.
Bring your awareness further up now.
To your chest.
Or your heart space.
You can put your other hand or both your hands on the heart,
Center of the chest.
And just feel into this area now with curiosity and kindness.
Just feel into this area.
And now,
Once again.
Speaking to the heart this time.
Three times we'll drop these words into the heart.
Dear heart,
What do you need?
Dear heart,
What do you need?
Dear heart,
What do you need?
Breathe and listen.
Maybe it's asking for rest.
Maybe it's bringing something up.
Maybe I'm guided to move my hands,
My feet.
Or simply a word has come up.
Whatever arises,
Just stay with it.
No fixing,
No questioning,
No changing.
Unconditionally trusting what your heart is bringing up in this moment.
Only presence.
Now,
Move your awareness to your shoulders,
Your neck and your jaw.
Shoulders,
Neck and jaw.
Notice any tightness,
Any tingling,
Any twitching,
Anything else that's there.
Without the need to release or change anything.
Simply acknowledge what your body is bringing up.
Speaking to the body once again.
As we continue this gentle dialogue,
We'll say this.
Drop these words three times.
I see you.
You're allowed to be here.
I see you.
You're allowed to be here.
I see you.
You're allowed to be here.
Now,
Finally,
Bringing your awareness to the space behind your eyes.
To your forehead and to the crown of your head.
The space behind your eyes,
Your forehead and the crown of your head.
Notice the spaciousness above you.
If it feels right for you,
Imagine a soft,
Soothing light gently washing over you now.
Like a warm,
Peaceful shower from above.
If you'd like to bring in a color,
A visual,
Just let it come to you.
A warm,
Peaceful glow from above is washing over me now.
Just bathe in this light for a few moments.
Let this light remind you.
You are safe.
You are loved.
You are held.
You are safe.
You are loved.
You are held.
You are so safe.
You are so loved.
And you are so held.
You can either pause this recording here and continue to work with the light,
Listening to your body's wisdom.
Let's take a final deep breath now.
And as you exhale,
Any remaining tension,
Stress,
Resistance,
I can release it to the earth beneath myself.
Slowly,
I'm beginning to return to the present moment,
To the now,
To the physical dimension.
I can feel my fingers,
I can feel my toes.
I wiggle them gently.
And whenever you're ready now,
You're very welcome to open your eyes.
As you return today,
Carry this question with you.
What do I need right now?
Ask this to yourself as often as you can and listen patiently.
Your body may hold the answer to what you're seeking.
Thank you very much for joining me.
Namaste.
