This short grounding practice focuses solely on the sensation of your feet on the floor. By noticing simple points of contact, pressure, and stability, you anchor yourself in the present moment. The guidance is minimal and practical, and you can use it anywhere — in a supermarket queue, on public transport, or at work. In just a little more than a minute, you feel more supported by the ground beneath you.

Feet on the floor.

This is a simple but effective grounding practice.

In your seated position,

Bringing your awareness to your feet.

Bring all your awareness to both your feet.

Feeling the contact with the floor.

Bringing all the weight of your body downwards,

Towards your feet.

The heel,

The balls of your feet,

And the toes.

In which feet,

Or which foot,

Do you feel the connection with the ground most clearly?

Ending this short practice of feet on the floor.
