Welcome.

This is a short meditation for regaining your focus.

If you're seated,

Taking an upright position and slowly by slowly bringing your awareness to your body.

Feeling sensations in your body.

Perhaps feeling the contact with the floor.

Contact with your seat.

Maybe feeling the cloth on your skin.

Feeling warmer or colder areas in your body.

And then bringing the focus to your breath.

Following the breath into your body.

And following the breath leaving your body.

Focusing on the full duration of your in-breath and the full duration of your out-breath.

Maybe feeling it entering through the nose and nostrils.

The throat.

Somewhere in your chest.

And maybe deep into your belly.

Each in-breath going in.

And each in-breath going out.

And then bringing your focus to one part in your body where you can feel the breath very vividly.

Focusing on this one spot.

And as good as you can keeping the focus there.

And then letting go of your focus.

Opening to the whole of your body again.

And feeling your face,

The muscles in your face.

And when you're ready,

Opening up your eyes again.

If you had closed them and coming to the end of this practice.
