Our meditation sequences are specially curated for modern minds and involve a unique fusion of various evidence-based techniques. This Senses Awakening meditation is designed to enliven the five senses and connect to the here and now, in addition to the usual stress-busting and productivity-boosting effects that come with Effortless Meditation in general. The signature of this sequence is a scan through the five senses of the body. Ideal for beginners and advanced meditators alike.

Well,

Thank you for joining me.

We just take a quick 10 minutes to help you feel a little more centred if you need it,

A little more calm.

My name is Amanda and I'm honoured to be your guide today.

If you haven't already done so,

I invite you to close down your eyes and feel how heavy your eyelids are,

Letting yourself see the darkness behind your closed eyes,

Letting yourself hear that the world is a little quieter right now,

Letting yourself believe that for this 10 minutes it's just my voice and the music and you,

Nothing else matters,

Feeling your breath in your body,

Accepting it for how it is,

Whether it's fast or slow or deep or shallow,

Not trying to change it in any way,

Letting it find its own rhythm.

Meditation we're going to use one of our senses as our anchor,

We're going to use any sense as an anchor for meditation,

But for this short time let's just choose one,

Let's just choose what we can hear,

The melody and the rhythm of the music,

Letting yourself hear the different layers,

Letting yourself hear the flow and the rhythm,

How the music was made,

By who,

With what,

It's not important right now,

It's just what you can hear,

Letting yourself fall into the sound,

Whenever your mind roams away,

Knowing that that's perfectly natural,

Making a choice to come back to the music,

To what you can hear within it,

Not focusing on the music,

Simply and easily falling into it,

Sound is always around you,

Senses are always with you,

Use it as your anchor,

Whenever you need to escape,

Just choosing one sound when you need to,

Letting yourself fall really into it,

Coming back whenever you need to.
