Thirty years ago, I was a special education teacher and Hall of Fame volleyball coach, showing up for everyone else while quietly losing myself in the process. At 48, everything changed. I got sober. Released 65 pounds. Rebuilt my life from the inside out through meditation, breathwork, and the kind of honest reckoning most people spend their whole lives avoiding. Certified in meditation under Andy Kelley, “The Boston Buddha,” and trained as a Level 5 Breathwork Teacher through David Elliott. What I found on the other side became the work I now do with others. Today I teach meditation at the high school level, watching teenagers discover themselves for the first time. I work with private clients, community organizations, and corporations, helping people regulate their nervous systems, reduce stress, and find their way back to who and what they always were. Not a new version of themselves. The original one. I am also the author of Under the Willow Tree, a reflection on the journey home to oneself. My live sessions on Insight Timer are an open door. Come as you are. Stay as long as you need. The work is simple. The practice is daily. The results are real. What I teach is what I practice. Every single day.
