Good morning,
We're going to welcome today with a brief meditation to set you up for the day and make you feel amazing.
If you've just woken up,
Remain lying down or find a place that you'll be comfortable sitting or lying down.
Whenever you feel like there's no right way to meditate and the position you choose is the right one.
Take a moment to make any necessary adjustments to your positioning and let the surface fully embrace you.
Now when you're ready,
If you haven't already,
Close your eyes.
Notice your breath as you inhale and exhale.
Feel it as it flows in and out.
Notice the temperature,
How it changes on the in-breath and out-breath.
Now become aware of how often you breathe without always noticing and how amazing your body is for enabling you to breathe,
To be alive.
What other things does your body do for you every single day that you may not always notice?
In your mind,
List these things.
Now I want you to visualise your ideal day.
Focus on how it makes you feel.
What's your emotion?
What does the expression look like on your face?
What are you doing that brings you joy?
What things are you doing that make you feel good?
What people are you surrounding yourself with?
Not getting too caught up in the detail of how you want your day to pan out,
Focus on these feelings.
Truly imagine how good you feel and feel that emotion running through every cell in your body.
Feel those wonderful emotions and the energy that comes with it expanding from every cell in your body to becoming a glorious bubble of light surrounding you.
This light is filled with love and is here to protect you.
It's your shield of positivity and will reflect any unwanted emotions or experiences.
You are powerful.
You are incredible.
You are safe in this bubble of light.
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Start to breathe a little deeper again.
Notice your body and how it's touching the surfaces that are holding you.
Start to gently twitch or move some of your body parts.
Notice your feet,
Ankles,
Calves,
Thighs,
Pelvis,
Tummy,
Chest,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Hands,
Head.
Remember how much your body does for you every day and gently thank it in your mind.
Start to notice any sounds in the environment that you are in and when you are ready you can open your eyes and begin your morning knowing you are safe,
Protected and amazing.
