
Self Confidence And Healthy Ego Strengthening
You can use this practice whenever you feel out of balance with your personal power, boundaries, discipline or communication with others. We need healthy ego to be able to function in the world, just as we need healthy boundaries, so we don't become too weak and allowing to be mistreated by those who like to take advantage of the naturally more giving people. We will have ego as long as we exist as humans, however, it is important to discern where it is healthy and where it is not. Strengthen what is healthy and release what is not serving you and your highest path.

Finding a comfortable position.
And let's begin by taking 3 big,
Deep breaths.
One for your body.
One for your mind.
And one for your emotions.
And on one of those breaths,
You will know when,
Your eyes will gently close,
And you will begin a process of deep relaxation.
Imagine yourself outside,
In your favorite place in nature.
It could be a peaceful tropical beach.
It could be a lovely old garden.
Or perhaps you could imagine laying back on a boat,
Which is sailing on a beautiful river.
It really doesn't matter where you are,
As long as it feels good to you.
And it's a beautiful day,
The sky is a special shade of blue,
Very clear and it's a warm day,
A warm summer's day.
And in the sky is a dazzling sun,
It's so bright that you just want to close your eyes and feel the warmth of the sun on your body.
Just imagine this now in your mind.
And surprisingly,
You find that you can direct that sun over and around your body.
And as you realize this,
You begin to direct the light from the sun over your face.
And you can feel the warmth of the light from the sun on your face.
Just relaxing those muscles around the eyes,
And the nose,
And the mouth.
And as you do this,
You find that the facial muscles begin to flatten out as they relax.
And you begin to let go.
And it's a beautiful day,
You move the light from the sun into the throat area,
Feeling the warmth of the light from the sun in your throat.
Imagine all those muscles letting go,
Releasing.
And the sunlight moves into the shoulders and across the shoulders,
Making them feel loose and limp,
And so comfortable now.
Feeling relaxed,
Comfortable,
And at peace with the world.
And you direct the light from the sun down the right arm.
From the shoulders to the tips of the fingers,
The right arm begins to relax and let go.
And it's a beautiful feeling to be here right now.
The warmth of the light from the sun penetrates the nerves and bones and muscles of that right arm.
It is such a beautiful day.
You move the sun over to the left arm and guide the light from the sun down and up the left arm.
From the top of the shoulders all the way down to the tips of the fingers.
You can feel the left arm relaxing,
Becoming heavy and comfortable and relaxed.
Now move the light across and into the chest area and relax the chest and all the muscles there.
And now the stomach.
Relax the tummy and down to the hips and the thighs and over to the right leg.
Relax in the right leg.
Let it feel really comfortable.
Let it relax.
And now move the light from the sun down the right leg,
Up and down.
From the top of the hips to the tips of the toes and the right leg relaxes as you let go.
And it's a beautiful day.
Let's begin to move the light into the left leg now and move it up and down the left leg.
From the top of the hips to the tips of the toes and the left leg relaxes,
Releases all tension as you let go.
Your whole body is now totally and completely relaxed.
From the top of your head all the way down to the tips of the toes.
And as your body relaxes,
Your mind relaxes as well.
And as your mind relaxes,
I want you to notice that the sun is going down.
The sun is going down and down,
Deeper and deeper down.
And the sky is ablaze with an abundance of colors,
Bright purple and blue and yellow.
And it's a beautiful evening.
The mind relaxes and lets go,
Releases all the stresses of the day,
Just letting go.
And the sun goes further and further down,
Over the horizon until in its place is a black velvet sky.
And twinkling up there in the sky is a single twinkling star.
Now keep your mind focused completely on that star.
Nothing else matters except this beautiful single solitary sparkling star in the sky.
And it's a beautiful night.
Apart from the start,
It is very dark,
But you feel so safe,
So comfortable,
So relaxed and at peace with the Universe.
Imagine yourself now moving toward that star in the sky,
Moving up and up and up.
Your body is weightless as it lifts up to the star,
Going higher and higher,
Up and up.
Weightless.
Effortless.
And as the star grows bigger and bigger,
You realize you are getting quite close.
It just gets bigger and bigger,
Brighter and brighter.
Until all at once,
You are that star in the night sky.
You are that beautiful star twinkling away.
That silver,
Solitary star in the night sky.
You becoming the star and the star is becoming you.
You are one,
Back from where you came.
And it's a beautiful star.
And so you go deeper and deeper into this gentle relaxation.
Just let your mind go.
Let it wander,
Just as it will.
And for a short while,
You will not hear my voice,
But when I speak again,
You will know that I have some matters of great importance to say to you.
And your subconscious mind will listen,
Accept and act upon the messages it hears.
That's right.
And with each breath,
As you exhale,
This calmness becomes stronger and stronger,
Spreading all the way from your head down to your toes,
From top to bottom,
Inside out and outside in,
Immersing you in an ocean of calmness.
An ocean of calmness.
That's right.
And as that continues,
Peace and serenity are taking you over,
Inside and outside,
Thus putting your mind and body in sync with each other,
Creating a special state of internal harmony,
Peace and serenity.
That's right.
As you continue to listen to me,
There is this center core within your subconscious mind that's logical and rational,
Cool and collected,
Calm and relaxed,
Clever and wise.
The one that wants you to heal and recover,
And become a whole person,
A whole and congruent person.
That's right,
Very intelligent and very knowledgeable.
In fact,
It knows so much that your conscious mind doesn't even know how much it doesn't know.
This center core within your subconscious mind has always been there with you,
Since the time you were a little child.
It's helped you to survive difficult predicaments in the past,
And will continue to help you in the future.
People refer to this center core in your subconscious mind as the inner guide or the internal advisor.
Some refer to it as the higher self,
And others as the guardian angel.
But regardless of the name of what it is or how you call it,
It has this very special function of guiding you from within.
To continue to find your own way for self-actualization,
Your own way to learn the difference between the past and the present.
And this will allow you to remember what you need to remember about the past,
And about what happened to you.
And once you do remember,
In fact,
You have been an ingenious survivor rather than a victim of unfortunate circumstances.
That's right.
And now you can let go of all of those memories.
And know that you have memories of the past,
But you know that you don't have to be the memories themselves.
That's right.
You can be free of the past and live better in the present,
Coping more effectively with the tasks of daily living,
Knowing that every day,
In every way,
You are continuing to get better and better,
To see things more clearly.
Knowing that you are moving forward,
Becoming stronger,
Wiser,
Improving your understanding of life and the purpose of living in your special role in your family and society.
You continue to strive for accomplishments,
But at the same time,
Strike a very special balance between your career,
Life,
And your family life.
You strike a very special balance between time and energy you spend in accomplishing your goals,
And the time and energy you spend in protecting and improving relationships with other people.
In doing that,
You learn to accept yourself as you are,
Respect your thinking,
Your feelings,
Your emotions,
And develop a sense of pride and self-worth.
You become more and more authentic,
And develop greater courage to assertively express your needs in an adaptive way.
You develop a new sense of balance and moderation between leading a life of structure and commitment,
And a life of playfulness and spontaneity.
As you continue to move forward,
You learn to accept yourself with grace and ease,
Viewing yourself in a positive light,
Developing greater confidence,
Your talents,
Gifts,
Skills,
And your attitudes and abilities.
You have the capacity to visualize yourself in the future,
Living up to your dreams with a sense of joy and accomplishment.
Now,
All of the things that I have said,
You don't have to fully remember if you don't want to,
Or you don't need to remember them,
But your subconscious mind and the center core will continue to guide you like an internal coach,
Even when you are asleep at night.
And this will continue every moment of the hour,
Every hour of the day and night,
Every day and night of the week,
Every week of the month,
Every month of the year,
And every year for the rest of your life.
And as you continue to move forward,
You begin to realize that life is a journey,
And that the goal of living is not traveling to a specific destination,
But the journey itself becomes your destination,
And the quality,
Grace,
And form in which you travel on this journey we call life,
Is in itself the goal of living,
And in doing so,
You are writing the book of your own journey.
Now take a deep,
Deep breath again,
And let the air out slowly,
That's right,
Breathing in and out slowly.
And I want you to know that you have the capacity to use this specific recording for self-help on your own anytime you want to.
In doing so,
You will reinforce again and again these specific suggestions,
Boosting your healthy ego and your whole self as a whole congruent person.
Confidence,
Assertiveness,
Flexible communication,
Expressions of the needs,
Wants,
And ideas,
It all comes easily and effortlessly from now on.
Easily and effortlessly becoming the real you.
And in a moment,
We are going to count from 1 to 5,
And on the count of 5 you'll be wide awake and out of this relaxation.
And so now at 1,
Feeling more present in the physical body,
2,
Start wiggling your toes and your fingers,
3,
Realizing where you are,
4,
With a big smile on your face,
And now 5,
Eyes open,
Wide awake,
And alert.
