Come into your space.
Make any necessary preparations.
And when you feel called,
Settle into some semblance of stillness.
Taking whatever position feels comfortable for you in this moment.
Releasing any to-do lists.
Any expectation.
Any goal of our time here together.
More often than not,
I am craving a gentler approach to my practice.
And what this can look like often is making space for and not focusing my attention entirely on my experience.
So with that in mind,
We're going to find a gentleness today and simply anchor in sound.
Noticing the gentle waves of our breath.
Noticing any sounds in the room.
Welcoming anything that is showing up further than the room that you are sitting in.
Perhaps even outside of the building.
Welcoming any internal sound.
Maybe a rumbling of the stomach,
Beating of the heart,
Ringing of the ears.
Observing how they spontaneously arise and are known for whatever period of time that they are and then disappear.
Inviting our internal sound to join with more solidity with the external sound.
The sounds of our body and our breath joining the symphony around us.
Noticing there is nothing to do here but listen.
Noticing to any evidence of life or absence of.
Going into what is here.
No sound there.
To stay here for as long as you'd like.
Listening to the song that your body contributes to the space that you are in.
I will be signing off now.
Thank you for taking this time for yourself with me.
