Welcome to your first chakra,

The element of earth.

Take three deep breaths.

As you are breathing in and out,

Visualize your tail burn and imagine a ruby red circle of energy.

Start to spin the red clockwise in your mind's eye.

Welcome to your root chakra,

Your earth energy.

Imagine yourself in a deep,

Dark place.

Your are safe,

Secure,

Utterly dependent on a source of energy greater than you.

That source is your mother.

Her heartbeat is your clock.

Her waters are your house.

You are undisturbed and serene.

But then you hear your soul calling.

It is time.

It is time to be born on earth.

Your home dissolves and you are pushed out from the dark into the light and are no longer two felt as one.

You are here.

You have been born today.

Feel your feet.

Incredible creations.

Buried within your cells are the blueprints of the original feet and toes of our ancestors,

The great apes who lived in the trees.

Look up and see you are sheltered under the branches of a vast oak tree.

Now gently lie down under its welcoming shade.

Feel the earth beneath your body.

Feel the heaviness of your body.

Sink into the earth.

Feel your heartbeat.

You are connected to a mysterious source that beats your heart for you.

Feel the heartbeat of the earth.

The rhythm of the earth.

And allow yourself to relax totally into it.

The earth holds us up.

It supports us.

Listen to your heartbeat and slowly it begins to emerge with the rich,

Deep sound of the earth's heartbeat.

All that is earth is you.

The great place from where ideas are born.

Dark.

Deep.

True.

Feel imaginary roots grow down from your body into the very center of the earth.

They reach the core of the earth.

You and the earth are in perfect rhythm.

You are one.

Hear your heartbeat again.

Your beautiful heart.

Let an idea or image come into your heart.

A secret wish.

A deep desire.

And once you have that idea,

Give it to the deep dark earth.

And bless it to grow into truth.

Now leave it in the hands of the same magician who makes your heart beat and your eyelashes grow.

Slowly stand up and leave behind your secret garden.

Walk out into the magnificent land that is our home,

Mother Earth.

Look out at the vast beauty of the earth that sustains us.

The jungles.

The emerald grass.

The gentle hills and valleys.

The imposing mountains and deserts.

Thank her for all she has given us.

Thank your earthly mother and father for giving you life.

Know you are grounded and deeply rooted on this earth to manifest the highest good for yourself and others and to be a radiant light for our world.
