Let's find a comfortable place for your body,
Somewhere it can rest.
Lengthening your spine with your in-breath,
Softening your shoulders with your out-breath.
So we're a little bit relaxed and a little bit alert,
A bit of both.
And allowing the breath to become a little bit deeper.
As we draw our attention from the external world and bring it inwards.
We're internal world.
Bring your attention to your heart centre.
And for a few breaths,
Feel how it feels to do just that.
Release the demands of the external world and to slightly deepen your breath.
Already there might be a slight difference.
Slightly calmer.
Things beginning to slow down.
So let's relax our body even if we're seated.
We can still soften,
Put our body into a more neutral position.
I'm going to imagine a wave of relaxation flowing slowly over our body from the crown of our head.
So let's imagine your scalp and your forehead becoming softer.
It does so.
Around your eyes,
The muscles you chew with,
Softening.
Expression melting,
Jaw releasing.
If we're seated,
We want our spine tall,
Head balanced on the spine.
So we don't have to use many muscles together.
We can keep it there.
Lengthening the back of the neck by tucking the chin in slightly.
Shoulders softening.
Let gravity pull them away from your ears.
Chest and upper back softer in a neutral position.
Mid back,
Stomach area a little softer.
Lower back,
Belly a little bit softer.
Just holding ourselves up with a little bit of muscle tension if we're seated.
So we don't slump.
Let's allow the base of our body to be soft and heavy.
Our seat,
Hips and thighs softening.
Lower legs in a comfortable neutral position.
Softening all the way down to our ankles and our feet.
Just checking around the body for areas of tightness or tension.
If we find any,
Allowing it to flow out with our out breath.
Long smooth breaths.
For a few moments,
All you have to do is breathe.
If your mind is chatty,
Take your attention from it back to your breath.
Even if you need to do that repeatedly.
We're going to create sacred space to feel our difficulties to be in the fire.
And so,
I claim this space as sacred.
I claim this space in the name of Father,
Mother,
God,
Christ Consciousness,
Grandfather,
Grandmother,
Eternal Living Light.
Whatever name you wish to give the Prime Creator,
Honoring the elements,
The earth,
Water,
The air,
The fire.
Blessing them,
Asking them to help us clear the space around us to make way for more light.
If we wish,
Inviting in beings 100% in service to the light,
The north,
The east,
The south and the west.
And asking the directions to hold this space for us today.
Inside this sacred space,
We can rest,
Be safe.
Sometimes,
Life is difficult.
And from time to time,
It becomes so difficult.
It's as if we are in a fire.
And that may or may not be you today or tomorrow.
But at some point in the past and possibly in the future again,
Most of us have had this experience.
Let's honor that today.
Because it can become productive.
And I want to show you how.
I invite you to imagine that now,
In this moment,
You sit in the fire.
In the midst of difficulties,
Great or small.
Whatever those difficulties are.
It doesn't really matter.
What matters is how we respond.
For a few moments,
I invite you to sit with your difficulties.
To be in those flames.
We're not making anything up.
It's our reality.
To feel the reality of it.
Our emotional response.
What our mind says about our difficulties.
Feel it all,
But know you are safe.
You are safe to be in the fire.
And if you wish,
You can invite the fire to remove from you everything that is not love.
Like iron ore goes into the furnace and comes out pure steel.
We can resist the difficulties.
Hide.
And there's no shame in that.
We've all been there.
But you can sit consciously in your difficulty,
In your flames,
And not be burnt.
And come out stronger.
Allow it to change you and to shape you.
It takes courage.
But we are powerful creator beings.
Being so strong that we come here to earth to experience not knowing who we are.
To find out the hard way.
That's the kind of adventure our soul likes.
You are more powerful than you realise.
And you can sit in the flames and not be burnt.
Not be touched.
All of humanity sits in the flames right now.
Even if it's not in our personal lives,
It's all around us.
Humanity is being cleansed,
Reshaped,
Reformed.
And even if we hide from the process,
As many of us are doing,
It will still help us to grow.
It's a very slow process.
If we can bring our full awareness to it,
Honestly,
Courageously,
And be open to the process of purification,
Then it becomes much faster.
And even if that is not your experience,
It is mine.
And so,
I invite you to imagine those flames becoming violet.
Lilac,
Purple,
Violet flame.
And to sit,
And to allow it to burn off everything that is not love.
The pain,
The fear,
Resentment,
Regret,
Anger,
Despair,
All the conditioning,
Your past.
Allow the bits of it you don't want to be burned away,
And start afresh.
You are safe to do this.
Those flames are not just outside,
They are inside.
Invite them in,
Sweep the basement clean.
Release the violet flame.
Know that if you sit in the flames right now,
It will pass.
And you will emerge slightly different,
But not the worst for your experience.
Stronger,
More compassionate for those who also experience their difficulties.
Thanking the violet flame and ourselves for the strength and the courage.
Keep going.
Feeling your body once more.
Slowly,
Let us begin our transition back to the external world.
But there's no hurry.
Taking an energising breath or two,
Beginning to move your body.
Some little stretches,
And maybe some bigger ones.
And when you're ready,
Coming back to the external world.
