Journey to self day one.

Find a comfortable position to sit or to lay down and close your eyes.

Take a moment to set a clear intention for your practice,

For self-discovery.

This might be,

I seek to understand myself more deeply or I am open to discovering my true self.

Start with a basic breathing exercise to calm the mind and your body.

Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four.

Hold the breath for a count of four and slowly exhale through your mouth for a count of six.

Continue this cycle for a few times until you feel centered and calm.

Allow your mind to enter a deeper state and visualize roots extending from the base of your spine into the earth,

Grounding you.

Feel the stability and support of the earth beneath you.

Bring your attention to the top of your head and scan your body from head to toe.

Notice any tension or discomfort and consciously release it.

Feel the weight of your body and the contact with the surface you are sitting on.

Observing your thoughts without judgment,

Imagine each thought as a cloud passing in the sky,

Allowing them to come and go without attachment.

Now bring your awareness and focus to your heart center,

The area in the middle of your chest.

Visualize a warm glowing light emanating from this center.

Allow this light to grow,

To expand,

Filling your entire being with warmth and compassion.

Ask yourself open-ended questions.

Who am I beyond my roles,

My labels?

What are my deepest desires and passions?

What strength do I possess that I may not fully recognize?

Allow answers to arise naturally without forcing them.

Trust your intuition.

Imagine yourself in a place where you feel completely at ease and safe.

Visualize your ideal self in this space,

How you look,

Feel,

Act.

Observe any symbols,

Any messages,

Feelings that arise in this space.

Repeat these affirmations to reinforce your discoveries.

I am open to discovering my true self.

I am worthy of knowing and loving myself.

I trust my inner wisdom and intuition.

Take a moment to awaken and express gratitude for the insights and experiences of this moment.

Feel appreciation for your willingness to embark on this journey of self-discovery.

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Bring your sensation back to your physical body.

Slowly move your toes.

Gently roll your shoulders and take a deep breath.

I'll count from one to five and at five I'll invite you to open your eyes.

Coming back into your physical space and body.

One Three Four Take another deep breath in through your nose.

Hold your breath.

And exhale with a sigh.

And five.

Open your eyes slowly allowing yourself to come back fully to your surrounding.

The physical space and your physical body.

Take a few minutes to journal about your experience and any insights gained.

Reflect on how these insights can be integrated into your daily life.

And commit to regular practice to deepen your self-discovery journey.
